Poor ratings for the opener. We will be lucky to get 900k. Someone needs to remind these people that there gold medal winners!

#NRLEelsBulldogs
633k (Metro 391k Regional 242k) that does'nt include ratings for the septic states or fox.
Yeah Very $hit..
240k for FOX>

this dam Corona Virus having huge effects..

and LIC before you go on a rant.. AFL will feel it next week.
the corona virus but but is for the lower crowds

it would only increase the ratings as going to the game (not in nrlols case  )

how is the corona virus impacting ratings - thought it would increase them if people are staying at home?
not sure if you have notice...

but Media Coverage on the Virus has reached massive levels.. of coverage

and leading into you opening game it will have effects..
taking away media space and promotion of the Game.

this would happen to any sport.

Under the present circumstances any rating of any sport is pointless, even tv ratings, my grand children compete in a very unpopular and poorly attended sport, their entire season has just been cancelled, under normal circumstances I would be quietly pleased. Now???.

If trying to make that point to a normal bunch of people they’d probably agree
Can’t go out to the game or government has restrictions in place of public gatherings or people have normal precautions in not wanting to get sick you’d stay home to watch the game

But in the eyes of a league fan but but Coronavirus is why ratings are down

Not massive first round ratings for the NRL but not catastrophic either. We're in strange times at the moment so any intelligent poster wouldn't be drawing any conclusions at this stage.

I note the AFL pre-season ratings were down 25%. Yep!!!!! 25%!!!!!!!!

Well done fumblers. Great start!! The NRL game was a lack lustre match-up which appears to be reflected in the ratings.

Well there goes the Covid-19 theory to explain the poor rating for NRL opener.

Last nights AFL game was 400k clear of both your Thursday and Friday night games last week too. Its not just last nights match. Its by far the highest rating game of the two codes in the last fortnight.
Good on 'em!!!!!!
