err, we havent played our best game this year yet dickhead. Thats literally all you have. 3 big games, then you're massacred for the rest of the year
3 big games and we get more ratings every single year and thats with less games Wow....but but but but but club footballs all that you have. If you fumblers didn't have just one thing to focus on your farked up world might be a little bit different.
Hey pissycat where do all those fan go from the state vs state soo games!

The nrlol struggle to sell already heavily discounted tickets & are getting flogged in the ratings

But but but
It's a ratings thread
Not a crowd thread

So it's acceptable to try to say the AFL ratings are effectively doubled due to a longer game .
Yet I'm a fuckwit for using yOUR method in reverse .
Lol
If it's good for one way it's good for the other
We get nearly the same Dollars for a game that is about 1/3 less viewing time
But let's discount that because
it makes the NRL look good .
Then it's unacceptable

And yet its not entirely that black and white is it now and never has been.

The NRLs simple majority doesnt overcome the AFLs ratings over more broadcast time - effectively doubling the AFls ratings per game when compared to NRL ones by virtue of its extended time coverage, a fact which ive never seen an NRL person acknowledge.
Club matches is the only focus of the AFL. Hardly the NRL fault .boo hoo hoo. And I wont mention they have way more matches way more FTA.

If an AFL game drags on forever who's faults that? In fact it actually gives AFL 50min uncontested in every match. If a match is one sided or blown out for any length of time it has far more effect on a shorter match than a longer match

Bring up any NRL disadvantages and all you'll here from the fumblers is but but but.

Maybe but we are talking about length of games
If fumbles goes longer (effectively doubling ratings :(/ :(/ :(/ :(/ :(/ )then they should have got far far more as there's far more ad time .

there is more ad time, but it is reigned in by the increased value of each ad in NSW and QLD compared to VIC SA and WA. The net result is similar values. Wookie has a good point though. 3 hours at an average of 1.9m compared to 1.3m for 2 hours doesnt accurately reflect how dominant the AFL was over the NRL on Friday night.

It is what it is. One is worth more than the other. If the nrl want to add quarters then go for it but AFL Comp gets more. Nrl had the soo series added in.. 3 massive rating games. I would agree if you were to say that that's the product and if AFL don't have it tough . Same goes re length ... that's the product .

Lol
So you agree that doubling the ratings because it goes longer is fine
Yet when I say that because our game is shorter then we are worth more per minute it's not

Can't have it both ways .

You're failing to grasp what we are arguing about ..wow that's not unusual .
You've been known to post with no fucking idea what is being talked about .
How the fuck can you claim extra ratings because your game goes longer
But we can't claim anything due to our game being shorter
You mob seriously need help
If you can claim something for the length of your game
So can we .
We are more valuable per minute.
To put it in working mans terms
NRL. About 76k per hr
AFL about 70k per hr.

You have to work far longer hrs over a season to make slightly more than us .

We are more valuable per hr...
