Yet ANOTHER blowout in the nRL with another team scoring 0! Becoming all too common this year.

Truth hurts I guess. Allow me to elaborate to the fools. Basically I prophesize that the top 8 is all but decided at the half way mark in the AFL with the exception of 2 teams, carlton and west coast. That's my prediction folks and I'm damn certain I'm right! :D Why am i damn certain? A lil sometin' called the basketcase league folks, there's just no hope for the teams in that league
The nrl on the other hand? As you said Eels, its clearly a battle royal and I'd like to see any of our resident AFL boffins pick its top 8 as accurately as you or i eels
Clear as crystal folks, there's a basketcase league in one comp, and it aint the NRL :D
Oh Dear Brisbane Bronco's definitely in the NRL basket case league! 32-0 what a disgrace!

The basketcase league has been really gtrst this week folks. We saw brissie and the gc fighting it out in a close one. We saw the giants and the bulldogs in a close one. And melbs! Wow weren't they just really really ok at their home ground today!? They never looked in the match at all and the swans looked lame and flat yet the demons still only lost by 6 goals =D> Well done to melbs! they certainly weren't competitive and the swans didn't try but they did their fellow basketcase leaguers proud by not going down by 150 today :D

Re: Options for a lopsided comp
Well how much more evidence do we need of the ongoing basketcase league in the AFL?
I mean we've had vossie from up Brisbane way tell us all that the demons don't deserve extra draft picks but that brissie and 4 or 5 other squads who need extra special treatment in order to ensure the AFL is not an absurdly lopsided comp.
Then week in week out sitting in the heart of eastern sydney, ol boy sheeds tells us just how shite his gws boys are. Each week he basically pre empts his team having no hope and then after they lose he says it all again. Dear lord help us marngrook fans if this team continues on as it is. I'll say it again, buddy wont save em, They need 8 of him.
And now today, we have the Melbourne coach coming out with this little pearler! After losing to the swans in what can only be described as a lacklustre boring affair he said about the swans "''To use a racing term we've played a group 1 horse today … they're a fair dinkum footy side"
We can only wonder what league he sees the demons belonging in but it certainly aint the AFL!!! I mean he doesn't even think the demons are a "fair dinkum footy side"
What are they, tankin again?
MAybe but I think they're just ur good ol fashioned run of the mill basketcase these days.
And this is just over the last few weeks folks!
S.hit AFL folks, now comon! Although I play marngrook well and watch the AFL a bit here and there, me and the league boys don't have the same knowledge of the AFL as the bungled organisation that it is. Please please, give us some options for this lopsided comp and ill collate and send em down to those fat honchos down at AFL HQ

At the end of round 10, Port Adelaide was also paying that. Just goes to show how accurate that cliche is.King-Eliagh wrote:Stewie wrote:From a purely selfish POV I'd love it to be true. Re: Options for a lopsided comp
Well folks I have to apologise. I did go a bit soft this season by only committing to 5 basketcase teams. But I am pleased to say we have a definitive 6th basketcaser! :D Stkilda! Yes, they are just shite. Dead set cant do it. They're not ur worst basketcaser but sheesh do they stink. They're about as bad as the one and only basketcase side in the nrl, parramatta.
So we gots the final 2013 basketcase league folks :D
Goldcoast
Western Bulldogs
Stkilda
Brissie
and a drum roll folks
MMMMmmmmmelbs!!
and a louder longer triple drum roll folks
ahhhhhGEEEEEeeeeeee dubbbbbllleeyaaah Essssssss!!!!

Re: Options for a lopsided comp
Brisbane are still on with a chance of making the 8. They have beaten Geelong Essendon and north Melbourne . I love how you add st kilda in after the fact ... To suit your argument lol. Piss weak your are KE . Gutless, a coward, and a liar with an inferiority complex . God I pity your wife , no wonder she left.

Re: Options for a lopsided comp
Yes, the nrl is such a quality comp... Maybe if we get half way through the season and take all the good players out of their team that may even up the comp .. Then they come back in with an origin hangover. Personally, I think it is healthy that your good teams are consistently good and should be beating the bottom sides. Of course you'll get the odd upset as KE points out but if you get this far in and there isn't a clear Gap between top 2 and bottom 2 I think that looks poorly on the comp? But that's just my opinion

Ah, I reiterate... No.

Do we have the same or even similar comments and concerns raised by several senior nrl personnel?King-Eliagh wrote:Well how much more evidence do we need of the ongoing basketcase league in the AFL?

Re: Options for a lopsided comp
Wow!
We all knew it'd be a tough round in the AFL basketcase league this week folks but even I, your resident prophet, didnt predict it'd be this bad for some.
Lemme break it on down for tha haters out there
Saturday, July 27, 2013
Suns v Carlton: The spritely looking unskilled pack of b grade marngrookers from GC were all pumped up and full of unwarranted belief after a mass hysteria erupted **** the dumber AFL fans and personnel just a week before when the suns managed to barely topple an out of form disillusioned club in disarray, collingwood. Their enthusiasm lasted a few quarters before they were utterly and convincingly trounced by 43 points, as yours truly predicted just days earlier
End score GC 77 - Carlon 120.
Melbs v Kangaroos: Melbourne are really struggling and its hard to even call them a basketcaser these days, they're worse. They walked out and looked more like a bunch of ichy degenerate derelicts who were looking for their next hit against one of the most unskilful north melbourne sides in decades. And...they copped an absolute pasting. End score NM 150 - Melbs 28. :-+
Collingwood v GWS: Well this was one of the surprise matches for those uneducated AFL folk. Collingwood, a team in disarray after its president openly spouted racist words against one of the games greats just weeks ago, showed just how bad they're up against it now. It would seem Harry Obrien still has issues with the club and its unethical disgraceful decision to support its racist president, and the rest of the team are falling to pieces as a result. It's all quite awful, which is exactly how collingwood have played the last weeks. Still however they managed to thump the teens from east sydney. End score Collingwood 106 – GWS 66.
Sunday July 28
St Kilda v Geelong: And then the boys from st kllda rolled on out to play a genuine contender for the title in geelong. St Kilda, the newest basketcase leaguer (relegated in place of port Adelaide) showed their true colours and amassed a measly 5 goals 6 feebles in 100 minutes + of footy. A shambles by any clubs standards. Mark my words folks, stkilda are true basketcasers and look like they’ll be in the league for sometime. End score Geelong 137 – Stkilda 36
Port v Brissy:Then the bumbling uncoordinated lads from brissie took on 2012 basketcaser port adelaide. One could easily predict it'd be a close one with the boys from port playing some really shittty footy for the majority of 2013. But, the lousy lads from poprt managed to hang on in there in a closey and juuuuust pip the lowly larrikins from brissy. end score Port 71 - Brissy 62
Western Bulldogs v West Coast: And finally we had a mammoth upset in the basketcase league. The bumbling bulldogs managed a scrappy win against a tired, lacklustre looking outfit from westcoast. A blue moon event folks and well done to the doggies! End score dogs 111 - WCE 89
Same teams week in week are getting belted. The consistency is uncanny. So uncanny that only a fool could deny the existence of....the AFL Basketcase League!
