As opposed to 15 of 16 clubs needing to survive on nRL handouts...

AFL clubs could easily post huge profits if they cut back on football department expenditure, however current trends suggest that this will not happen any time soon and could be a big issue in a few years time. Time will tell. AFL clubs turnover more money each year than 15 nRL clubs could ever imagine.

Don't anymore as the club grants are now somewhere around 7 million for each club vatman
