For starters, winning grand finals doesnt make you a bigger club mate, expanding your boundaries does and Souths have done this extremely well compared to other NRL clubs. The way they look after existing members and fans is something every NRL club should be taking note of. The bulldogs don't have a smaller crowd average because our fans actually show up to games unlike Souths but in saying that does not make your club bigger based on crowd averages, Souths have more members and fans right across the country.

& again, Parramatta have a bigger supporter base so of course they are going to have more members, with a new coach and renewed confidence **** the playing group of course more people are going to sign up to watch them play (heck id sign up to if i was an eels supporter), hence the bulldogs memberbase grew after they signed Des Hasler and a few new players last year.

"for the most succesful NRL club in Sydney in 2012 ... & one tipped to be the same again in 2013.. to have just 10K members is a disgrace"

SO does that make St.George a disgrace after they won the grand final in 2010, they should have had 25,000 the following year should'nt they? How about Manly winning the gf in 2011, Shouldnt they have had more then 20,000 in 2012? The list goes on...

Your wild airswing comments are laughable, as you are just trying the cover-up the fact that you are a clueless idiot.

Oh and the bulldogs are just about at *12,000 members (NOT 10) and look almost certain to exceed previous membership levels, can't say the same about the raiders lol 8-[

How long have the Raiders been around for compared to the Giants? Also, you're always saying that AR is small in Canberra, yet the Giants only average a couple of thousand less than the Raiders already. Imagine in 5 years when the Giants are playing better football.

RIP Raiders.
the Midgets averaged about 6K in Canberra

if they average 5K this year they'll be doing well as they are an utter embarrasment & a laughing stock down here
in 5 years
well.... they'll be pulling crowds not much bigger then the Calvary baseball team
They averaged over 8,400 at Manuka you dimwit. http://stats.rleague.com/AFL/crowds/2012.html

Only 1,400 behind the arse Raiders. Watch out Raiderdave, 3 years and the Raiders will be overtaken by the Giants.

I've been to the occassional game since, and every time it's the same story; there just aren't many die-hard Raiders fans. When the Riders are firing people jump on board, but people just don't talk about them around the place. I've been told by many people that in the 90s they were massive, but slowly over time they've faded. My Mate thinks it's because they're never on the TV, and i'm sure that's a large part of it.
This. How are the Raiders supposed to grow their brand when they are only on FTA TV once a year? As the nRL is all about TV ratings and not the fans, this problem won't be going away anytime soon and the poor club will continue to make losses even with a minuscule budget.

They averaged over 8,400 at Manuka you dimwit. http://stats.rleague.com/AFL/crowds/2012.html

As the nRL is all about TV ratings and not the fans, this problem won't be going away anytime soon and the poor club will continue to make losses even with a minuscule budget.

we had 2 games on FTA in 2012 & posted a 3.4 Million dollar profit
Poort Powerfailure had .. 22... & posted a 6.3 Million dollar loss

gee :-k

imagine if those the numb of games for the Raiders was 22
& it was 2 for Poort Poweroutage ?

Port didn't have 22 FTA games nationwide fuckstick. 22 into the local market, but not nation wide. If the nRL was smart and not all about maximising TV $, you too could have had 22 arse Raiders games into the local market, and may have actually posted a profit off your minuscule $10m budget

all you're doing here is showing your ignorance .... & lack of knowledge about RL

when did you start following it
last week ?
Okay so what is your point your trying to get across? I explained why Parramatta have more members a bigger fanbase is always going to have more members do the math! Parramatta made the grand final in 2009 and they did'nt increase on memberships much in 2010? So i don't know what the hell your trying to prove...

If Souths are not a bigger club then the bulldogs, then im superman. Have you not seen how many members the club have? Did you not see the rally which included 80,000+ fans? Have you seen the celebrities who wear the Rabbitohs colours?

Your the one that sounds like you have no knowledge about RL because otherwise you would know this kind of stuff... ](*,)
