wind and temperature conditions do change and so do climates across the country and the world, and vastly different to your backyard! Ed!
i know you think that for some reason that its always sunny and perfect condition for AFL games and always wet and windy for NRL games
ill stop there as it seems to be getting far to complicated for you to understand that kicking the ball as hard as you can in to a strong wind the ball will never travel as far as no wind or with the wind, no matter the technique protectorate of the angel you take! ED!
so tell me spambot
what do the useless nonces in singlets do if they turn up to a ground & the winds blowing at 5kms an hour
i mean it blows out of your ranting gob harder the that , but do the skinny little white flogs go home
nah
its windy
Im a talentless tool.. can't kick straight at the best of times , no chance when its a bit windy

ive seen games at Shark Park & Wollongong & all parts of NZ Where the opposing team is kicking downfield and the ball goes backwards LOL
What ive seen in Hobart is nothing special..
maybe because i watch Rugby League and see Games in all parts of the world
where conditions can be pretty bad..
Hobart is not special..

the weather and climate does differ from NSW! you know being on little island closer to the artic will make the weather more wild and cold

I think if AFL required one or two long high kicks a game it may not be such an issue - but the nature of the game is quite different to RL or RU - where it mainly consists of flat throws. If AFL was mainly all handballs for instance it is probably not such an issue.

while there is alot of kicking AFL i totally agree on that (consisting of around 220 plus per team on average.
so yes a windy day would effect more an AFL match than NRL (good point)
NRL have around 50 to 60 kicks per game (long to high kicks)
Plus conversations after each try and FG
so depending on the scoring it will vary.

The long bombs are meant to be as difficult as possible for the opposition to take - so the wind would be an advantage for the main - so take these out of the equation. and remember, the main way of scoring in AFL is through kicking the ball - usually from a long distance - and passing is pivotal too. Played many a game in wet and windy conditions - and the go ewas to handball - kick long and rove packs - but when it is going backwards - and seen that too - and you are at the elite level - and this is a common thing down there - then a roof is a must. I think that is the issue - conditions like this on far too many occasions. I wonder for NT stadium they'll request air conditioning lol.
Anyway - on the stadium - will the AFL scrap the team? Will it be a line in the sand? I think the AFL are not wanting this but are prepared to go there - releases them of any complicity of them not allowing a team in Tassie as they can put the blame back squarely on the government and not being able to get their house in order.
I suspect that the greens and cross benchers opposed will back a government however when it comes to voting on the stadium with the roof they can vote against it - however as Labor and Liberals are fo the stadium they'll have the votes. Isn't there also fines in place in the agreement if not done by a certain stage?

we're not taking anything out dopey
Good NRL 6's & 7's can land a bomb on a 20c piece in most conditions because.... they're skilled
they take the conditions into account & adjust accordingly
It can be a dry day with no breeze & the bumbling clowns in singlets even then , aren't able to master the simplest of tasks
kick the ball straight
kick it to one of their players
catch it or
pass it
they are hopeless
we had collingdork the week before last
have 9 Derps before a goal was scored
& Essendope this weekend just gone
had 8 derps before their 1st goal
the sport is a travesty , a joke .. a clown show

the kicks are for distance when run out of tackles or when taking the punk for goal, not kicking to teammates or nearly as often as shots for goal
there is a big difference in to how the kicks are used and AFL use kicks far more often and longer distances.
this argument is basic seriously the state of Tasmania getting a new stadium yet somehow its seen as the AFL directly receiving money from Jealous NRL fans is all it is

no its nothing like you claim! its funny enough watching NRL players constantly drop the ball and recieve penalties for tap on from short passes, or watch the ball bounce off the cheast of the NRL player un opposed while the oppostion has just taken a punt down the field after using up all the current tackels

club, state and national Rugby League and Union champions proved the difference in the 2 codes and AFL was far more skilful and difficult to play. they couldnt make it or compete against kids in low ranked sides
