Time will tell I guess. Every other time NRL fans have said the AFL will not achieve a record broadcast deal, they’ve been proven wrong. History repeating I suspect.

Fumbleballs limitations ... which are numerous .. are finally catching up with it
being numb 2 nationally & only valuable to advertisers in half the country, no where to expand to safely except a tiny island with a spread out population so unable to offer new content , are huge impediments .
Its attempts to pull the wool over broadcasters eyes is no longer working for them with the language coming out of foxtel & Ch 7 that the big increases from them .........are over
I dare say the Awful has seen the offers from these 2 already & they don't make for great reading ...

anyone see the "report" That Channel 10 has offered 3 billion for AFL rights with 20 team comp over 5 years
