Spend $360 million for a stadium the will only ever be over half filled 5 or so times in a decade! Only then the loons of fans will be crying it’s time for a new one to be built

So, in 3 games at the new stadium we've seen the crowd drop from about 97% capacity down to about 85%, now down to 54%.
In three games.
A truly spectacular decline. And one I didn't see coming this fast.
The 12k long term average looks like staying for a while, possibly forever...
And a truely world class experience looks to only have been achieved once.
Back to NRL class it is.....
Pity really, schools and hospitals could've used that cash for something good.

Oh dear Let's wait for a weekend game ...see what the crowd is .
Thurs nights are not crowd friendly .
With two teams way out of form .
So more than half full was a decent result .
Next week will be a good indication .
It's Fri nite ..& SOO players out so we shall see what the crowd is .
I expect 20k plus .
