But I think he is alright ... knows most his stuff ... can tell you almost anything about AFL (as long as it is negative) although can be a bit touchy at times.

When I read the comment (just went back and read it) that the place is a disease ridden war zone I did not take it literally that there had been a war declared in png. I read it as the place is like a war zone ... meaning it was crazy over there and lawless and you take your life in your hands.
From what I hear I would think this is an apt description of the place in parts. Women I hear should not go outside alone for instance.
I’m in Bangkok at the moment and if someone said ... “dibtvgo to some place... it’s a war zone” I would take that to mean its chaotic and very dangerous”.
