Great to see your keeping up French Rugby League missing link. They,ve got some great little semi pro comps over there. My mate played RL for Cannes years ago - loved it. Keep up the good work missing.

not sure about OzTag but Touch certainly consider themselves sport in their own right. Certainly born from rl but as rl people have pointed out previously rl was born from rugby union yet they are stand alone sports.

It does make you wonder though, if Touch moves to bring more professional could it be considered more popular than either AFL, union or league ????

Fred, if you scroll up a little bit you will see I have clarified the position of Oztag so you can now be sure about it. The touch footy situation has also been done to death here previously. Of course you can't remember. For a quick recap: their official logo calls themselves NRL Touch Football - fairly self explanatory I would think.

Please print this post and stick it on your fridge with all the others lest we go back into the fishbowl on this issue.

Think you ignore my post of article from touch football governing body that CLEARLY states that it is a sport in its own right. Goes through the history of football actually. Think that clears it up. Now pay attention and scratch that itch.

It is my opinion re if the bears take over the titans that that will be the end of the titans on the Gold Coast


It is fact that on the Touch site they have a history of football in all guises and consider Touch to be a sport in its own right. If you want to argue that FACT take it up with the Federatiob Of Internationsl Touch not me.

At the end of the day no other footy code in the world has players pushing, elbowing and dog shotting each other more than the AFL.

Players in other footy code don't stand of AFL handbag antics like that.
