Cheers boys, it really did seem obvious from the first post that this thread was going to be an attempt to re write the facts to suit crapper and co's worn out narrative, even now as seen in his latest post hes still desperately clinging on.

As a long time follower of the NFL and all things considered Hayne did quite well, much better than I ever believed he would, but to consider his stint a success is drawing a very very long bow. As I posted earlier, if you cant pass bloke out of the back field and your getting your QB killed on a regular basis your done, doesn't matter if its Blaine Gabbert or Tom Brady. And even a basic understanding of the play book would help.

NFL is a strategy based game although it is physically demanding - no wonder it's a hard game to understand running patterns and position that's I thought he would struggle!

Jarrod Hayne had no previous experience . He broke into there top competition and his attacking stats were better than 2 or 3 of the four players that played in his position. And there been playing all the lives! No on-kick-off here. He didn't struggle Sarge, he made it.

I would call giving sonething a go a failure. He made the side as pussu said having never played the game. He was hardly a star however. But it was a great effort. Backing away didnt look so good however.

Changing codes say to me he wasn't going to get another stint - IMO he was selected from more of a marketing decision as he just didn't have a fundamental understanding of the game (so I've heard), the money he would have earned for another season would suggest that would be something a person would have difficulty walking away from. Considering how much RL supporters carried on about his decision to go to the NRL and the vitriol by them AND Hayes it has to be considered a failed endeavour!

A very Successful grid iron player who will go down in history as the only man to have scored a tri/touch down in both codes. He was very fast, however - like Darren Clarke, he was plonked on the wing where he was all at sea. He didn't have the skill set required to make it in Rugby League.

Hayne only touchdown may have been in the pre-season but he did achieve his goal of becoming a top grade NFL player and has since moved on to his next goal.

As far as rankings for a successful cross over - Jarrod 6-7 , Manfred 3.

Very successful gridiron player, I think a little more research is required on your part pussytwat. Just stick with the facts, no need to sugar coat the mans career to try and make it better fit the narrative your trying to spin.

It would also appear that Haynes brief sojourn in the NFL has lost some of its gloss in just a few short posts, a 6 or 7 hardly the ringing endorsement, whats that c+ and shown the door after just 12 months. Let's hope this stint in the 7s pans out a little more favourably.
