Granted the Opera House is iconic a UNESCO world heritage site no less, but when you say it's Aust greatest Architectural marvel you really need to say in your opinion as that's all it is your opinion. It may be shared with others but it's not a statement of fact.

As for your next paragraph of nonsensical drivel, this is pure fantasy. Your going to need to show us at both state and federal level how this impacts on the teaching of Aboriginal history and culture and the differences in government schools in both NSW and Vic, and why Vic government schools and the policy that guides what is taught would be effected by indigenous population size in 1 area compared to another. Maroubra, Coogee, Bondi, Bronte, Tamarama are all beaches within minutes from the Sydney CBD.

The beaches you mention
Queenscliff is 104 km out of Melbourne.
Bells beach, 107 km from Melbourne. 80 minutes drive =D>
Smiths beach a 136 km out of Melbourne =D> =D>
Portsea beach 110 km out of Melbourne

None of those surfing beaches are anywhere near the centre of Melbourne. Are all over a 100 km away. I know this because I have been to Melbourne and could not find a good surfing beach anywhere. Melbourne is not a beach city like Sydney. Never has been and never will be.

Even all the Northern beaches of Sydney are way closer than any of those 100 + km ones you mentioned. =D> Manly, Narrabeen, Dee why, Curl Curl, Mona vale.
