For a start I said CODE, so horse racing, boxing, tiddly winks doesn't come into it, as they are not a football CODE.

The second point you said world wide, so wookies figures are pretty meaningless, unless he as worldwide figures which i haven't seen.

So again, sorry KE but I suggest your "facts" are merely figments of your imagination.

Searching for "most popular sports in the word" gives me lists that put Football (Soccer) as having a fan base of 3.5-3.8 billion people, so assuming a 50:50 split in population and the world population being 7 billion, either every male on earth is a fan of football (which clearly is impossible) or the female fan base of football is measure in the 100's of million to a billion.

by the way the list stops around 300 million, and sorry but Rugby League isn't on there so I would suggest more women watch Football than people watch Rugby League LOL.

So no Football doesn't really have a problem with their fan base, Rugby League might have a problem if they had a world wide fan base that anybody could bother measuring
