The nrl isn't a comp that is low on quality players and teams. They don't need him at all.
The AFL is a comp with a thin pool of quality players and a large number of basketcase sides. Unfortunately for the AFL he would've Been a good mid range cheap player for stkilda melbs gws brissie western bulldogs

Ahh perhaps they weren't stars because they'd not played it anywhere above the level of under 12s before?

Fact is tho, even with this complete and utter lack of experience out lads, and by no means our best lads, were able to make the pinnacle of your code

Shall I provide you with some links adumb?
you bum sniffers keep talking up how great the NRL athletes are then why did folau & hunt simply struggle in all fitness aspects of the game, speed and endurance, they both dropped weight & did several pre seasons and still struggled.
i wont even bother going in to the skill level.

They'd have got the money if he was worth it, but the guy hasn't played the game for years and expects to be paid as much as others who stuck around?
get off the crack.

Speed? Hunt and folou are both yards quicker than Ablett you dumb clown. They weren't able to trot as good for long periods but yeah compared to speed trotters are boring.
You get it now adumb?

Hunt rated Ablett the best football of any code. Wonder what their respective beep tests were. Fallout may have has speed over a short burst ... He just doesn't having a sporting brain and resilience for AFL. Hunt, stuck it out... To his credit and would be good at most sports he played ... A natural sportsman. At his best, he was a very good AFL player, and showed a brief glimpse of this. He just couldn't sustain it. One of the reasons leading to him giving AFL up was not wanting to do another pre season ... Which are fairly gruelling in AFL.

who cares who is faster eliagh if hunt is faster it obviously didn't help him at AFL as hunt and folau both failed
if just because hunt could sprint quicker than ablett who is no where near the fastest player in the league over a short period, then does nothing for the rest of the game. what use is he

You idiot. You don't understand the meaning of the word slow. If khunt was slow then Ablett is a snail.
I'm just pointing out you're wrong again. Khunt wasn't slow ya knob jockey

He was slow for AFL but also didn't have the smarts of an AFL footballer ... But at his best he was a good AFL player ... Problem was he only showed this in a few games.

And what'd he have re experience? U12s level club marngrook
Sorry guys but the experiment really showed the superiority of the league athletes, apart from their trotting one foot after the other times by 12000 skills
