As usual, you are wrong yet again dave. So a club that can afford to lure the best fitness coaches, best recruiters, has state of the art facilities, can buy the best their is for their players to have access to, has no more advantage then a club that had none of these things? Are you really that stupid....? There has been calls for an off field cap for years for this very reason.

Idiot.
oh enlighten us fucktard
which of these competitions allows some sides to spend more then others in their salary cap
&
have extra draft picks
or
are allowed to have all of the priority picks before anyone else
come on dickhead
hurry up
it should be easy to link it

none of those leagues are expanding into new markets and have to worry about building a team up from the bottom in a completely new, untouched area
also the mlb and nba employ luxury taxes, enabling teams to go over their salary cap but are 'taxed' for it ie:pay the league more money. giving the richer teams a little more muscle than the rest
also the tax laws are completely different state to state in the US
and lastly, calls from fans and players for nba teams to change cap sizes according to cost of living city by city, state by state have been running rife lately. i guess australian sport are ahead of the rest of the world in this aspect
http://hangtime.blogs.nba.com/2014/07/2 ... advantage/
mls is an expanding franchise league in the US and they also afford concessions for new clubs, especially when it comes to draft picks
there ya go davey boyo....in other news, met a woman today who was promoting nrl undies...apparently they come in raiders colours as well
perhaps you should go out an buy some since you happen to wet yourself pretty often
http://nrlundies.com.au/collections/canberra-raiders
So in regard to the bit I highlighted, you are refering to AFL ?.
If so then that is straight from the AFL propaganda textbook.
Can you tell me how Fucking NEW Sydney is for the Swans?
30yrs they have been there & still getting extras (even after winning a Lol lol lol FLAG.
& can you explain how WS is completely new...UNTOUCHED.
What a load of fucking tripe.
It is still Sydney,& they have had a team called the swans..
Yet you ********* think that people who live there must never read a paper, listen to a radio or watch TV..
Suddenly there is a game called AFL appearing..
wow where did that come from?
What planet do you fumblefans live on..??

No no no ... Western Sydney is seen as somewhere that the AFL see as not having a large following if AFL and also a vastly growing area. It is an important area to have a presence in. Swans have been targeting Sydney as a whole, and indeed I believe they too take umbrage with the AFL and gws in trying to divide the city up as they too claim that it there market. However, Western Sydney has been specifically targeted as 1. Sydney has the population for at least two teams, and 2. That area is more untapped than other areas, and 3. It's a massive growth area.
In regard to draft concessions and cola etc. there are plenty in the AFL that don't think it is fair as well, quite a few. So your paranoid beliefs of the cult of AFL are unfounded. Despite this, most AFL people love the game despite any flaws and that's why it is do popular and growing.
I'm willing to proffer that when the nrl set up a Perth team you'll see similar concessions.

Can anyone give an update on where the rd/piesman bet is at? I think it'd be nice for pies and phelpsy to be wearing ridiculous avatars together...for moral support you know. And I'd encourage other AFL fans to take up bets with the rl crew. Seeing you all wearing dumb embarrassing avatars will be yet another clear indicator of who is the more intelligent of the codes fans

apart from that there is also the delusional obsessed nature of the derper fan.,.
They are a strange breed.
So obsessed that they resort to stalking.
Claiming new posters are RD....
& then going power crazy as a mod & going on a rampage of deletion/locking & dictatorship(wookie has corrected that ).
Spamming nearly every thread with..Frickin Goose .or the ever popular POKE POKE POKE POKE..
But all the above seem sane when cos starts posting.

I reckon you turn in your sleep over it whereas most of us just come here for a bit of fun.... Yet for you you have this crusade that seems to consume you. Got me stuffed why AFL grates you so much.

At least pies was smart enough to put a minimum post count ... And let's not forget the numerous times you have lost bets ..... Yes yes we know you will babble on about this or that bit we all know. It's quite pathetic. At least you walked into my plan beautifully ... Karma is a bitch ... Live by the sword die by the sword.

Unfortunately my plan back fired a bit when the last GWS game got rained out (usual crappy Sydney weather) Now I'm hoping that the raiders vs parr game gets a similar amount of rain. Also if Canberra draw less then 8k tomorrow I will feel a little better.

I'm sorry pies but I don't buy your "plan didn't workout" argument for a second! It's a matter of there folks are the smarter race, swindling you AFL clowns out of ur identities almost every bet we set
Take it like a man pies, you're done for because of ur own stupidity

There's one hundred difference between the two teams at the moment. It's not over yet. I'm not confident but I'm not out of the race yet. If you are so confident perhaps you would be willing to share Dave's avatar for a month, with no extra bet on my behalf? If not thats cool I understand you're all talk

beautiful sunny day down here today pies
a mild 17 as a top
will be around 12 at kick off
Raiders coming off a win ....the Tigers have a lot of fans down here & many will come out for their tigpie fix even though their team has imploded with internal strife in recent months
I'd be surprised if 10K plus don't turn up .... nothing to write home about of course ... but it signals the near deathnell for your hopes of winning this bet
then
Parramatta in the last round next week , a considerably bigger club then the Tigers in the Canberra region
if they are needing to win this game to make the finals .... well
see ya in 2 months pies
