That last sentence requires proof, please.

Also I would suggest that you incorporate the Saturday Age into those figures and I think you will find that the Age makes up the difference quite strongly.
those figures are average on the monday to friday run.
if you want to add the week end age in as well, the herald sun does a saturday and sunday edition. the herald sun rapes the the few people by it.
Per forum rules you need to find proof that the storm cost news ltd money before the salary cap scandal or retract

Although maybe this might help:

Incoming Storm chief executive Mark Evans said the club, which cost News an estimated $75 million in losses in its 15-year history, had a plan to break even in “four to five years”.

The Storm has cut its annual losses from between at least $4 million and $6 million to closer to $2 million in recent years under departing CEO Ron Gauci, who has grown crowd and corporate hospitality numbers. The club has signed 15,000 members this season.

That actually goes against (to a degree) the proof that ParraEelsNRL provided about the Storm making a profit. So no I don't think it did help.

How can you say there is sufficient interest in WA for RL when they still only have 3000 participants of senior and junior players??? When you look at NSW they have 28000 junior and senior participants at club level and RL poster continually insist that no one in NSW is interested in AF!!!

Yeah dead as a dodo, dead as that game played in the late 1890's in South Africa at some sort of empire games or similar.

I think they called the sport Victorian rules or something.

Then there is that other sport that died out around the region too, I think it was called Australasian Rules or something like that.

I hope Rugby League never goes down that route, we can see what happens when you do, you tend to die as a sport.

It's not beyond possibility that the owner was wrong you know.

For the rest of you, as long as there are two local rugby league competitions in Western Australia the game is not dead there.

You would expect the new owner to have done their due diligence and know the clubs finances in fine detail. Ive seen other articles stating the storm cost their owners millions per year to keep afloat. If I can find them I will
