This thread is about NATIONAL relevance, not what sport gets the most viewers on a particular night - I am 1st to admit SOO is one of the biggest events in NSW and QLD and rates well in Vic, but Australia in case you have forgot has SA, WA, NT and Tassie too. It doesn't do that great and therefore is not as relevant regardless of most of NSW and QLD tuning in. Why can't you grasp that concept?
