How about you do abit of research 1st - wasn't it KE who started a thread how beautiful it is to defend someone - which was all about hitting someone - didn't all you RL posters approve of all his comments - AND most of all it stn it RD claiming he would deal with me easily! What I see however is you thinking you want to solve it by stepping into the ring and fight. Words are one thing but wanting to physically enact an act on violence is another. You still seem to think it's ok to resolve a dispute of words with physical violence. Can you admit that that is a wrong thing for any sane person to do.

No this is a step too far this time. I have just made the call and I read to them what Raider said on this page and they were serious and not impressed at all with the accusation. It has been referred to the communications team who will decide if any action should be taken over it.

Have Asada got the Federal police involved & are now converging on Canberra?
The investigation into drugs will have to take a back seat to making sure that a person who upset a known liar on a forum is arrested.

How do they know that Raider is in Canberra? In order to get that information they would have had to at least get back to me, although it would be more likely that they would have contacted Beau. And if they had Beau hasn't checked his email yet, or he would have banned Raider by now for sure in order to protect the forum from any action. I know that's what I would do, but then I would have banned Raider long before now!

Besides, they would NOT delay the investigation you dummy! It would be a side issue in comparison, but still worth at least bringing it to their attention. It's up to them if they want to act or not. For all I know ASADA may have referred it to the AFL and I know from past experience that they don't care about NRL fans like Raider. As far as the AFL is concerned fans like Raider are the AFL's friend because they make the NRL look bad. That's why I took it to ASADA to begin with.

Just to correct a few things - and I do have some legal knowledge and experience (two successful defamation lawsuits **** visits to all three courts in Victoria as well as VCAT, AAT, the Federal Court and the Federal Magistrate's Court - heck all I need now is the High Court and I've got the set!). What we're talking here is defamation. Now under the precedent of Dow Jones v Joseph Gutnick in the High Court, the matter is heard where ASADA sees the allegation. As it stands that makes no difference in this case because ASADA are also in Canberra.

Now ACT Law doesn't have a Defamation Act as such, so I don't know at a glance how ASADA could proceed. But I do know that it would have to be in the highest court in the ACT, and that's the Supreme Court of the ACT. Defamation is a state and territory jurisdiction and has no application in Commonwealth law, even though ASADA is a government organisation.

I think that covers everything.
