Raiders don't get many FTA games these days.

When they were in their prime pumping teams week after week back in the early 90's, channel 9 treated them just as the treat the Broncos now with each Friday night being theirs.

Top 20 programs do not tell the full story. Get the totals for all transmissions for all games in both codes.

Prove that remark about Canberra TV ratings, ParraEels!

Dave, according to the link I supplied earlier there are AFL teams in Yass, Goulburn and Cooma. But in this argument we are talking about Canberra, not them and not Queanbeyan either. And don't go on numbers like that. An RL team is 15. An AFL team is 18.

You want to prove RL is bigger than AFL in Canberra? Get more clubs.
Don't kid yourself. In my old team we had 20 players, 17 per game.

Including reserve players an AFL team has near 25 per team

I was never denying the number of AF players in a squad. Just out of curiosity, does the AF canberra have 3 divisions for every age like the rugby league?

Not relevant, because there are more AFL clubs so you can't go with multiple divisions as it's not practical. With less clubs you have to and that's actually a bad thing, not a good thing.

You don't have 3 divisions for every age group.
You have 3 zones.
Some clubs have 1/2/3 teams per age group just like JAFCs.
You don't have many clubs in Canberra.
You're driving 60k ~ 90k to Yass and Goulburn.

There are more AFL clubs IN Canberra as well as clubs surrounding Canberra like the Gouldburn Swans and Yass Roos.

there are 3 competitions per age group
& on average 8 sides per comp

meaning theres 24 teams in each age group

the fumbles n bumbles don't go close to fielding that many per age group in Canberra
infact its near half that number
as I have proven

now get yr hand of yr dick for once in yr life eh lad

Open your eyes Dave. AFL has by far the biggest participation in Canberra !! 22 per team !!!! Nrl is only for the bogans who supply the educated people like you Dave. Half wits . Union and AFL are for the middle and upper classes . Everywhere you go in the educated parts it's AFL this , buddy that, giants this. Maybe if you go out back with the unskilled labour you may hear something about the raiders .., problem is even nrl followed in Canberra don't follow raiders much . You just live in the bubble of the small nrl following
