Isnt Sydney NRL heartland?
Isnt Sydney NRL heartland?

Does nRL heartland even exist these days?Xman wrote:23k, 5k more than the eels v roosters today.

I said 30k would be good which means 23k is acceptable. Certainly given it was the second highest crowd in Sydney on the weekend and it was a giants home game Id say its acceptable, wouldnt you say?King-Eliagh wrote:Can any of you short sighted tools tell me why none of you AFL goons were able to say, or even suggest 23k would be a good crowd before the game? Alls of yous said 30k would be good before the match. Then afterwards you've come up with a raft full of reasons why 23k is good.
It's hilarious and pete is the only right man **** you knobs.Well in pete, well in. One day maybe sydney will get behind the code but right now its just not really a big thing here. Its ok, but it's nowhere near RL and some way behind soccer. I'd suggest its probably better than bball though.
Hey KE, how come the Swans are more popular than every NSW nRL team? Why can't the Storm be more popular than just one Victorian AFL team?King-Eliagh wrote:Can any of you short sighted tools tell me why none of you AFL goons were able to say, or even suggest 23k would be a good crowd before the game? You're a sensible man pete. Your acknowledgement of the problem was well said. I cant understand why more of your AFL supporting mates dont see the problem. You think they're a bit dumb? I mean its as clear as day, the bulk of swans 'supporters' here in sydney are nothing more than ignorant chardonnay sipping pretentious turds who dont know the rules nor the players and only go to games for some sort of status they believe it gives them when they talk about it in the office of a monday morn. Pathetic, really pathetic.Pete_09 wrote:Yes Dave that is a bit of a worry. After the Swans won the flag last yeah as underdogs in a great game I would have though more people woud be following them this year but obviously not.
I can understand why people of Brisbane are turing off the lions cause they are woefull & the way they played on the weekend was pathetic.
"Dead last" but have lead the way for crowd support and memberships for 18 years straight. The Swans dominating support in Sydney really is a sensitive issue for the nRL bogans.
Actually they smashed them lol. The Wanderers got 19k to their game, the Giants 23k. The Giants game had about 290k watching on TV while the Wanderers had less than 100k.Raiderdave wrote:lets add the crowd & TV support together shall we ?Stewie wrote:"Dead last" but have lead the way for crowd support and memberships for 18 years straight.
