See the Sharks Captain and coach on the weeken?. They're shattered and stressed out, can't sleep, can't play rugby the stress is getting to them so badly. Essendon meanwhile, top of the ladder. Not a care in the world. Why is this?

Reminds me of a systems audit that occured a few years ago at my old job. They were investigating fraud, checking people's logs and conducting interviews to uncover if tender information had been leaked to a certain company. A collegue - i'll call him Andrew - and I were scheduled for an interview on the same day, our logs having been audited earlier that week. I was a cool as a cuccumber, knowing full well that I hadn't done anything wrong, and that any investigation would confirm this. Andrew was freaking out. The stress was killing him, he was a sweaty mess and hadn't been sleeping. The difference being that unlike myself, it turns out he hadn't obeyed the rules and had infact actively breached them by leaking confidential tender information.

The way the Sharks captain acted on the weekend was the spitting image of Andrew's mannerisms that morning.
Asked if the NRL could be doing more to help, Flanagan said: "I don't know. To me, if we had real strong leadership, I am not saying we haven't, but I don't see (Dave Smith) standing up or the commission standing up.

"We are damaging our game. We are damaging our club. Maybe if it was the AFL they would come out and say we are not putting up with this.

‘‘It may well be scientists and lawyers at 20 paces,’’ says former ASADA chief Richard Ings.
Cronulla appears to be in a far worse state than Essendon, given its players’ use of substances provided by Dank and which ASADA is adamant, despite Dank’s denials, are banned. In relation to the Bombers’ use of AOD, even ASADA’s internal advice suggests the doping case around the drug is weak.

It clearly states Cronulla have used banned PEDs and Essendon have used supplements which even ASADa admit they only have have a weak case against.
