Relevant because indigenous players dropping out of the game is an issue because they offer so much. Good on Rendell for raising the issueStriker wrote:Relevant because it's freaking RACIST, you boob! And what is the AFL doing about it? Sweep sweep sweep!
Really? Show me one piece of evidence that is true....just oneStriker wrote:Yeah he raised the issue alright! He showed that the AFL is a racist competition and THAT'S why Aboriginals are dropping out!!
I've already shown that statement, where he said if things didnt change recruiters may need to consider recruiting ......., was said directly to the AFLs indigenous liaison, therefore clearly not intended to be racist.Striker wrote:He said it! (quoted from memory) "Best to stick to recruiting from a family with one white parent"!
Why else would the Aborigines be dropping out huh? You tell me!
So again, you have not one shred of proof at all....why am i not surprised?Striker wrote:And I'll call each and every one of them a liar! Rendell exposed the AFL as a racist organisation that "should" (read "do") only recruit Aborigines with one white parent! Stop sweeping the truth away, X! It's not going to work! If you're right, Rendell would still have his job! And guess what? He doesn't!
But that's not proof of why players are dropping out is it. Nor is it proof given the context of his comments given who he made them to. So fail.Striker wrote:I have one piece of proof. Rendell's big mouth. And you are so desperate to ignore the real message it's unhinged your thinking. To the point that you believe the lies being told in those biased testimonials!
Thats the point moron! Exactly what Rendell has suggested! Indigenous players living in remote and isolated communities find it hard to adapt to the fish bowl scrutiny and expected life style required in AFL football! This is the very reason Rendell mentioned it to the AFLs indigenous liaison! He was concerned about the drop out rate and was trying to instigate measures to stop itStriker wrote:How about you ADMIT that Rendell exposed the AFL problem? Or don't you have the guts to admit that there is NO OTHER EXPLANATION for the drop outs??
Striker wrote:Sweeping "but" still worthy of discussion?????
Excuse me but that's exactly what the AFL DIDN'T want! That's why Rendell quit before he was pushed!
I have cast my eye on the NRL in numerous other threads. Are you simply proving my signature to be an understatement...yet again XmanXman wrote:His view may be simplistic and sweeping, but its still relevant.King-Eliagh wrote:=D> =D> =D>Xman wrote:No, the AFL were obliged to investigate. The Crows over-reacted, absolutely.
Yes Rendell's opinions are sweeping but still worthy of discussion.
Interesting that AGAIN youre ignoring your own codes shortcomings
Finally we can all see that Xman is learning. From defending Rendell's sweeping ignorant racist comments he's finally actually read what ive said and understood that rendells comments were "sweeping". I'm so happy my teachings have been heeded...somewhat.. i hope. Yey he wont admit it. But ive learnt him good.Yes Xman "worthy of discussion", but disgraceful all the same. I just hope now after your learnings, that you wont continue to make the sweeping statements youve made and defended previously about indigenous australians. 'laid back families' indeed!
you deserve to be called an aussie bogan git/skip/strayan dipshit the way you were carrying on earlier
but you've learnt, yes? :D
How about you learn to cast an eye on you own code and their failure to even acknowledge racism let alone address it![]()
