a story of note would be a school in Western Sydney paid their own money to have vicky kicky posts up.. due to demand
somehow I don't think we'll be seeing any stories like that .. anytime soon
In other news, the Giants just held trials for their academy. 75 players from Western Sydney tried out. These are seperate from the trials that will be held in the riverina and other GWS zones. Not bad for the team's second year. The Auskick program is about 17 years old, so we'll be able to see what benefit the investment in grassroots footy has had in NSW and QLD over the coming decade as the kids that grew up with it start reaching draft age. Interesting times ahead.
