A sound summation there pies, apart from the possibility of khunt being an average to good player next year...anythings 'possible' but that dont mean its gunna happen. LEts call a spade a spade here. The khunt is a dudd, a dudd who's struck gold, but a dudd all the same.

As for your trollop Xman. There's some psychological concepts called self justification and cognitive dissonance. Have a read sometime and you'll find its perfectly normal for those who blindly support the AFL and their actions/payment to khunt to justify khunts onfield play.

If he was a dud he wouldn't have had numerous results as one of the best performing players of a number of games. However, he is inconsistent, which hopefully will improve as he continues to develop.

Numerous...? Define please, and while you're at it add evidence.

Check the thread we both posted in which is dedicated to him. It's all there....

I recall one or two max. And again I'd suggest those performances were sub par. One of them he kicked the winning goal from 30 out, a kick i would slot 9 times out of 10, and he received the sympathy vote. The other I'd say is strongly related to the cognitive dissonance of those who laud anything this chump does which is HALF decent due to the fact he's an 'experiment'.

He's a dudd payed like a prince. And the GC crowds suggest his marketing value has plummeted since his first appearance.

Dud players don't make the best player list on a number of occasions. Experts know more than you. In fact most people know more than you..

I mean the swannies are the premiers after all :D And GWS might have Tipsy, or Tuppence, or whatever his name was, instead of that RL star Izzy....

Should again be higher than almost every NRL game played in Sydney all year.

And would you consider 35 thou a success? Considering that's almost a 10% drop from last year.

Of course. The opening game of a new club will always draw more fans, including neutrals.

Of course 35k is a success. 100% local support, in a stadium despised by Swans fans, competing with the opening rounds of the dominant code in the region.

If they get 35k, it'd be a bigger crowd than all but 3 nRL H&A games in Sydney in 2012. If 35k in an expansion market is a failure, how would you describe the 90-odd Sydney nRL heartland games this year that had less people?

I'm talking about success based on what the AFL would consider success. Now what about my prediction of 27k??? You lads consider that a success?

GWS home game in round 1, so anywhere between 30-35k. Swans home game at the SCG against GWS would be over 35k if the capacity allowed it. It will be good seeing a couple of 50k plus crowds at ANZ next year for the Swans, against Collingwood and Hawthorn.

You should be talking about what is a successful crowd in a city that traditionally doesn't attend sport in great numbers. It's only partly due to the fact the NRL is a boring spectacle live. Sydneys attendances for other sports is also below par for a city that size. The AFL punches well above its weight. As Drac rightly said, if 35k is a failure heaven help the NRL with regular crowds below 10k!
