Why shouldn't we? There is a certain league that we shouldn't believe though when it comes to crowds however...

One game last year between Parramatta and the Warriors drew just 4401 fans but the attendance announced was 5102.

Bahahahaha, as a Parra fan, that's complete rot.

You fumbletrolls been to parra stadium?

I know what a small crowd looks like there as I have seen a fair few over the years and what this blockhead wrote in the paper is BS, we have not been anywhere near that bad since the bad old days just before the SL war kicked off.

The truth hurts, doesn't it? The Storm CEO says crowd fudging happens a lot in the nRL, and Parramatta get a crowd of below 5,000 (LMAO) but fudge it to bring it over 5,000 and make it look look slightly "less embarrassing on paper". [-X This from the team that has hopes of being bigger than Collingwood!

Have you been to the stadium?

There was 9k in the stadium last night, one stand at the end was completely empty bar 25 ppl.

The main stand facing the cameras was maybe 3 quarters full.

The stand behind the home team was about 95% full and the stand on the camera side was completely empty.

Yet 9k in a supposed 19.5k stadium and you want to say the Parramatta eels are struggling like that?

So each time the storm play away, they take all these unimportant notes for the hell of it huh?

Bahahahahha, wouldn't they be more worried about what they are doing instead of what the others are?

Maybe the storm ceo just wanted to have a shot at Parramatta, ever thought of that?

You don't think he has spoken to any other nRL clubs execs before? #-o

Remember, this is the league where all clubs came together and threatened to make a breakaway competition if clubs didn't receive more money from the nRL.

And crowds are the big thing when away, why would he care, he's not losing money from it is he?

And as you and your mates do, you always give teams from a certain code smaller crowds than what they actually are, a ceo trying to give it to another club will do these same things, stop being naive, they play games all the time which heads straight into your last fact.

You vfl fans are good at believing everything the media says when it comes to one code. If you believed the media out here, Rugby League is just about dead and there is no way the game could ever get $1 billion, heck, you guys said it here there and everywhere for years. Look what happened?

Didn't the media feed you these facts and didn't you believe them?

And tell me, how could the NRL teams themselves break away from the NRL? (when News Limited had them)

Who was going to show it, who was going to sell it and who was going to run it?
And what about the rest of Rugby League outside of the First Grade club sides, what would've happened there, who would look after the juniors right up to International players?

The media said they may do a breakaway, yeah right! Think about it for a minute.

If you want to see what I mean, have a look at the way a certain company is treating and sniping away looking for a crack in the ARLC and especially Grant, that should tell you another thing.

It's NOT! You weren't there in 2001 when Collins made security cut the crowd back!! He wanted it to fail! It was WORSE than what you're talking about. WAY worse!
Explain to me how security at Etihad "cut the crowd back"

If there were major issues why wasnt it reported in the media, or on talk back radio?

It's just rubbish thats why... [-X

But now SOO is there youre claiming they like RL again. Why aren't they approaching Etihad to play there now? :-k
Security cut the crowd back with selective refusals to admit for no good reason.

From what I heard, the media wouldn't report it because they didn't see an issue, a bit like you. I'll bet that was because they sought comment from the venue and they denied it as they would because they didn't want a media circus!

The Storm haven't approached Etihad because Etihad isn't allowed to take in any weekend fixtures during the Winter, except for AFL. That edict comes from the AFL. SCREW THEM!! If we had a half decent Mayor the AFL would be told to get out of the freaking way!!

I'm sorry but if that actually happened it would have at least been reported on talk back radio, let alone in the papers. It rubbish! [-X

As for the storm playing at Etihad, they already have. Are you saying Etihad have changed their policy since then?

Even if it were true, the storm have a new rectangular stadium.

Even if this stadium is poor during wet weather maybe only 1/4 of games are affected by rain, so the excuse is BS!

What could a mayor do? Etihad is a privately owned stadium.

The Mayor can use planning laws to reduce the size of the stadium, or not give planning permission at all.

Talk back radio wouldn't let us talk about it. We were shut up.

The Storm hasn't played at Etihad for years.

And rain is not the only problem. There's Winter winds as well!
