I really doubt the AFL will give them a good deal, or any other sports team other than football clubs a good deal. They will probably act like the $NAFL do to Port and Crows and give other teams shit stadium deals, effectively using them as cash cows. The big winners from 2025 onwards are the AFL clubs based at Etihad.

Who cares, by 2025, the newest stadium down there (right now) will probably have been upgraded in capacity.

No they don't! You AFL morons preach the low crowd averages for every club. $hit stadiums are the reason! In New South Wales it's also TV. That's not a problem in Melbourne because they show games at $hit times anyway.

Melbourne gets the exact same games that NSW has on FTA TV at the same time on Gem. We all know that AAMI Park is a world class stadium in the CBD so that can't be the reason for the Storm's shit crowds. In the 3 stadiums the Storm have played at, Olympic, Etihad and AAMI their crowds have all been shit. Stadiums aren't the reason for their bad crowds, the sport itself is. It's boring compared to Australian Football and the majority of the Victorian public know this. It's the 10,000 or so NSW/QLD expats that don't know this and will turn up to games.

Storm always play when the vFL is on going head to head because we don't fear your silly little code, the Swans and other vfl interlopers play when there is no NRL on.

THe AFL sets the schedule first dick head. Because if this it's the nRL who decide whether or not to clash with AFL games. And as we saw last year, they tried to clash with many GWS games. Fear.
