Look I've said it before and i'll say it one last time. I've provided countless links and examples proving my point here. AFL fans are much more likely to become violent and act abhorrently.

TLPGs provided nothing more than a two year old's tantrum, stamping his feet and yelling "I know best".

Xman lock this one up now?

You have proven nothing. I know what I saw at Bruce Stadium and I'll never forget it. In all the years since my first live game of football I have NEVER seen the sort of crowd behaviour that I witnessed at that one NRL game. It was worse than the Battle of Windy Hill (and I wasn't even at that game!). But the NRL hushed it up.....wait hang on it was during the Super League war so it could have been ARL or Super League. Can't remember now.

For all the links you provided, you never countered what I saw. And you can't either, and that's what's got you burning up.

Can you provide a link to a report of this TLPG.

Without a link it's right up there with me saying I was in Centennial Park the other day and I saw a group of Swans taking bites out of joggers legs but the AFL hushed it up.

I did find one report of a Raiders V Roosters game in 2004 where a lady complained that the Raiders cheer squad was singing songs with swear words that she found offensive to her children, is that it? No wasn't that you did say it was during Superleague so it would have to be during the 1997 season If it was that it pales when compared to what has been reported about AFL fans recently and what I found about AFL when I was looking for something bad about Canberra Raiders fans at Bruce Stadium.

"Worse than the Battle of Windy Hill" - That was a "bench clearing brawl " i read somewhere.

Lets see a link to a report on this, back it up.

Just so that we are clear you are stating you attended a game a Bruce Stadium (now Canberra Stadium) in 1997 that something terrible happened (worse that the Battle of Windy Hill) that appears to of have scarred you for life.

Lets see the link. You know where this is heading, don't you?

BTW here are a couple more incidents of poor crowd behavior in June 2012 to add the the AFL "shame file"

http://juliekeast5.wordpress.com/2012/0 ... suns-woes/

Crowd Dickheadism Part 1

This weekend we’ve had allegations from players involved in the Essendon v Sydney AFL match at Etihad Stadium last night that lasers were shone at players. Essendon’s Angus Monfries told Channel 7′s Game Day program ”There was a laser beam out there. I noticed it a couple of times, I was on the mark when Sydney were kicking out once and it was shining around my eyes. It was a bit distracting at the time.” According to AAP, the AFL say several players from Essendon complained regarding the laser but they were unable to track the culprit down and there’s nothing that can be done unless the person owns up or is dobbed in.

How long is it going to be until a dickhead in the crowd shining a laser in a player’s eyes costs a team a match or even worse a place in the finals at the important end of the season?. Or if caught ban them for life from attending any sporting event across the board.

Crowd Dickheadism Part 2: Racism

Congratulations to Collingwood’s Dale Thomas and Gold Coast’s Joel Wilkinson who called out a fan for racism during the game last weekend. There’s a brilliant concisely written piece by Wilkinson regarding stamping out racism being everyone’s job in one of the News Limited papers, its well said and quite right.

Honestly, I quite believe if you pay a heap of money and only go to scream stupid racist things at players during football matches then please for the sake of everyone including the team you support, the players and the game in general then stay home and keep your money in your back pocket because AFL, NRL etc don’t need racism or offensive slogans shouted at matches.

There is no link, Mark. The club hushed it up as did the league (Super or AR - can't remember which). I assume it wasn't seen on TV - I don't even know if the game was covered. But I know what I saw. If you don't believe me then that's just too bad for you. I have never lied on this forum and I'm not about to start because only mugs lies and I'm not one of them.

On the last paragraph immediately above - agreed. The AFL are already hard at it. The NRL is sitting on it's thumbs over it, at best leaving it to the clubs. And that's a mistake and then some.

Nice one Mark. A laser beam

You highlighted a single racist AFL fan. What about the entire mob of racists at the NRL SOO? :-k

Well Xman I am calling BS on TLPG. Lets see how you get out of this TLPG.

BS statement by TLPG. An incident at Bruce Stadium in 1997 was worse than the "Battle of Windy Hill"

No report of such an incident. If TLPG can't back it up with a link a BS point should be awarded

You should have used the words "worse then the battle of windy hill in my opinion" TLPG. The statement you made although I believe you is no different to eels statement on the Stadium Australia crowd with out some proof.

Well you should have stated it was your opinion rather than stating it as fact TLPG. [-X

You have brought the standard of this site down once again with your lies and deception, and you should be punished for it. [-X

But dont worry, Xman will likely look favourably on your indescretions

You stated it as fact. You didn't say "in my opinion." To paraphrase "it was worse than the battle of windy hill". BS claim still stands.

No proof = BS
