The AFL have 53 games outside of its heartland states this year, up from 29 in 2010!

Meanwhile the NRL only have about 13 games outside its heartland (excluding NZ which likes RL and RU)

Yet the AFL will still average double the crowds! =D>

A one off game has little impact on your season average. Playing 1/4 of your leagues matches outside its heartland has a massive effect.
