Xman shut your yappin idiot. You're just repeating your old lines and sound like the ultimate tool, complete with bucked teeth and eyes pointing in different directions. Beaussie lapped that media up and is now shuddering in a corner somewhere, cold and confused as to why the wave of AFL dominance has not yet come through in his home town, sydney. He epitomises the sad state of our narrow and illegitimate media setup in Australia. But our Beaussie can take solace in his good fortune that Raiderdave is an accommodating bloke who has selflessly restructured the wager to give beaussie a fighting chance in this one.

My god, you're such a fool.
How can Swans members be allocated a members seat when it's a Giants home game and Swans members must purchase tickets to attend? FFS

ahhh....
you don't think the 2 Sydney VFL clubs wouldn't do a deal for the others members ?
the overwhelming number between the 2 clubs
gooses members get a deal for this game ... Midgits members for the return game later in the year
that'd be about........ 17,000. Sydney based members between the 2...in a city with 4.5 Million people .. would need special consideration as they may overwhelm ticket offices otherwise
believe me ... most Sydney based members of both clubs are included in the 20K
Xmans wish that they aren't is just more willy whacking on his part

I'm calling BS. I am a Swans member and know for a fact this game requires Swans members to buy tickets.

Just to add some perspective, originally the bet by beaussie was for a complete sellout of the match. He was riding hi on the media reports that an AFL tsunami was imminent in sydney town. As time wore on there was much confusion and taunting over the bet between the two with beaussie claiming RD was trying to weasel out of the bet. The following too and fro of wagers and bets was all very confusing and it was clear one of the members was too spooked to take on the challenge, but it wasnt clear which member was the scaredy kitten and was in effect backing out of the bet...
Months passed and a new bet formed. Much different to the old one. The bet effectively changed from a sellout to a 35,000k crowd, with RL needing to beat that crowd by R12 or 13. I'd have to say from the looks of things beaussie was the man weasling out of the original bet. He has now scored a much tastier looking wager from his viewpoint and while being a weasel you have to give it the guy for his weasling ability.
May the best man/weasel win.
You idiot. If you actually took note at the time or went over the old thread/posts, you'd see clearly that Raider backed out of the original bet offering new terms of mid 30k for the crowd and by Round 13 the NRL would have beaten that crowd in Sydney.
He even went as far as suggesting Canterbury vs St George would get 40k a few backs. Oh dear, how wrong and way off was he.
You have no idea as usual what you're talking about KE.

LOL Beaussie get a grip! Can you tell me why RD would back out of a bet where you claimed a sellout was imminent...and then changed that bet to aim for the GWS game only getting around 35k?
Beaussie your weasling skills are superb, own them and be proud.

I said a deal wombat ... not free
meaning they pay less then the normal $2.50 to get in ...............
almost all of the 20K seats taken sold would be the members of the 2 clubs
as seriously
who else would be interested in this debacle of a season opener that the gooses will win by ova 100.............

ANZ has 11,000 members .. who pay nothing to attend any sporting event there
while pulling nose hair would be a viable alternative to this VFL opener ... personal grooming is important
I think a few of this 11K may attend .. as it is free
a few anyway

Interesting.
Aren't NRL games played at ANZ in front of crowds that are even less than 11k?
Self-ownage at its finest!

yes ... so what ?
being new south welshmen they'd have their League sides they follow
why would a game between Souths n the Cowboys be attractive to these 11K if they don't follow either side ?
2K would turn up in that crowd of less then 11K
thats about 1500 more then will .. for the Midgits V Gooses spectacular this weekend
gee isn't Sydney just buzzing about that one

F uck you are confused!
You claim some of the GWS v swans game attendance will be ANZ members then say the same group wouldn't attend NRL games unless it was their team.
You are full of very poorly thought out excuses!

GWS Giants head coach Kevin Sheedy leading the team song after their NAB Cup win over the Gold Coast.
THE Greater Western Sydney Giants orange and charcoal army look set to outnumber Sydney Swans fans in the blockbuster opener on Saturday night.
More than 28,000 tickets for the clash had been sold as of Monday, and an ANZ Stadium spokesman said they were expecting more than 40,000 at the game.
Giants fans have taken up 56 per cent of tickets compared with 44 per cent of the Swans faithful. The Giants have more than 7500 members signed up, a third of whom are from western Sydney

an ANZ spokesmen eh .... who was that ?.. Andy Ididaphoo
so in 2 weeks they've sold less then 8000 tickets
& in less then a week they're expecting ova 12,000
again
VFL maths at play
my prediction of mid 30's looks like it will be spot on ... a disaster for the VFL
&
10 rnds of NRL in Sydney to beat that with some big games to come
sweet
