The sport is not called AFL. Officially it is called Australian Football, cos lettuce has spoken and provided clear proof on this nsw. Newcastle have the term wrong and I can tell you the majority of nswelshman I know call the sport aussie rules and know that the AFL is the organisation. you've made the blunder in the first point, it was a small one and i too have made the same mistake, but it's still wrong and misleading and from here on in a precedent can be set by slammin a BS point on you. I work for the Sydney AFL. Our parent organisation is AFL New South Wales/ACT. The leagues outside of the Riverina region are the Black Diamond AFL, the Central West AFL, the North Coast AFL, the Sapphire Coast AFL, the South Coast AFL and the Tamworth AFL. Not to mention the Queensland affiliated Summerland AFL.

See all those AFL's? That's the name of the game up here, whether you like it or not. When you called it AFL in the past, you did not make a mistake. You were correct, assuming that you played in this region or in Queensland.

No it's because they play AFL. AFL NSW/ACT is working with the clubs to change those ID's.

I'm saying the official name is AR's or Australian Football. Because it is called AFL does not mean this is correct. Lets get this straight and punish your lil trooper nsw for using the incorrect term.
