unlike the dozen or so clubs relying on AFL handouts .. 2 of which are totally reliant .. GWS & the Thuns , the Storm being a millstone around the NRL's neck is a bizzare thing to say ..... the NRL contribute no more .. or less to the Storm then any other club in the comp

they have enough corporate backing already to operate on the far smaller budgets in the NRL ... if the NRL have to give them a bit of assistance
