Rabbitohs First to Reach 20,000 Members!

The South Sydney Rabbitohs are proud to announce that the Club has surpassed the 20,000 Member milestone last week with a pair of brothers dead-heating for the historic achievement.

The Rabbitohs and their Members have stood shoulder-to-shoulder to reach this mark, the first NRL Club to do so.

Brothers Jackson (6) and Jordan (4) Basha from Oatlands in Sydney joined as Junior Members of the Rabbitohs with father Gerard, who is also a Member, signing them up for 2011. The boys’ mother Katherine is also a Foundation Member of the Rabbitohs.

Being the first Club to hit 20,000 Members, of which over 12,000 are Ticketed Members, proves just how passionate Rabbitohs Members are about supporting their Football Club and the team in the best way possible.

The Rabbitohs in fact did reach 20,000 members.

As least NRL clubs are more transparent then AFL clubs and provide their ticketed numbers.

So the headline should read 12,000 members, that's 12,000 ticketed members plus 8k non-ticketed.
