Well xman, well disagree then.

Still, what are you going to say when the rest of the NRL deal is finished, will you but but but as usual, or gloat gloat gloat?

That's the more important question.

The cash component is $1.118 billion, with $135 million extra in contra arrangements. The cash contribution is $369 million more than in the previous broadcast deal.

ah no. Parra is claiming the Australian coverage is more money for less games. Last I checked NZ isnt part of Australia.... :-k

Plus, the NRLs cash component is nearly 200M behind the AFL

the reasons FTA coverage is preferred is twofold:
1. more exposure because more people have access to FA, even 2nd digital channels.

2. free viewership for fans and potential fans

As for the AFL rolling over, what are you on? Every team in WA, SA, NSW and QLD is on FA every week. Last year the AFL was only on TV in NSW and QLD maybe twice a weekend. Now their are 4 live games, BETTER than the NRL in their own homeland!

The Storm are on gem in Victoria, not CH9 [-X They got, what less than 8 FTA games in to Melbourne last year? Yeah, theyre doing well!

I just addressed that point! do you bother to read posts other than your own?

# secondary channels GWS/Suns match would get a lot less exposure then say Canberra on PTV. Its Exposure clubs want - exposure to the largest possible audience. and the two new kids on the block have really missed out big time there. There is know one to blame but D. Hes the one that rolled over for the cash. I guess he needs it to cover some of there losses(or should I say half the teams loses)
Yes, i read your posts. Not sure why though. #-o

digital FTA take up would be FAR higher than PayTV.

As for AD caving in, How is 4 live games to ever state, plus home teams on every week, caving in?

ah no. Parra is claiming the Australian coverage is more money for less games.
where ?... he just said NRL V VFL
we win .. even with less games .... & infinetly less broadcast hours :-k
Plus, the NRLs cash component is nearly 200M behind the AFL
again .. your deals done .. ours isn't d head
our present cash component is 925 Million ... I expect it to be 1.150 to 1.175 Billion when our deal is done
meaning we will have 30 to 60 million more in actual cash.

its time that you accept that the days of claiming a bigger TV deal as some indication of the value of your sport to this nation
are over , as yr about to be ................. No 2
RL SOO II 4.194 Million veiwers
RL SOO I 4.068 Million

Don't be so quick to jump guys, if the Raiders are having a good season, ch 9 still has the last 6 rounds leading into the finals, open.
They had a good season this year, did they not? What makes you think anything will change come the last 6 games with the nRL scheduling? AFL fans would be up in arms if Collingwood got 17 Friday night games and a team that finished above them on the ladder only had 1 game on FTA. We don't accept that shit though like nRL fans do.
ah no c head .... they had a good finish
but they were still equal 2nd last ... at round 18

VFL fans don't know how to get .. up in arms about anything
if they did , they'd do something about how their comp is geared toward the sides in the non traditional states

it is obscene that a side like the swines are given an extra million to use in the salary cap .. still .. after 30 years
& seriously
why don't the VFL force teams that play the midgets & thuns .. to play with one arm tied behind their backs , as that'd be fairer then the help these 2 are getting to " compete" in the VFL.

VFL... a joke
but but but

Your shit club is getting screwed by the nRL. End of

the only reason the nrl got close is because they sold control, hence this discussion
Ch 7.. 400 Million for 4 games a week
Ch 9..... 450 Million for 3

can I help you with anything else
That would mean something... if 7 had all their games exclusively!

so ... 6 hrs a week ... X 26 weeks
156 hrs .. for 90 million

almost half the hours broadcast

Except you dumb fuck it is being simulcast by a rival network who is also paying for the game. The fact is your deal is more than 200 million fact. The AFL achieved this while demanding coverage for all teams, demanding simulcast and keeping the right to control their game. You bent over and copped the golden rod just to get close.Ask the raiders. You can't sell the digital rights because fox already bought most of them and sky are offering less than the 60 mill they paid last time. The kiwis now have a midnight grand final.lol Read the repucom report from last year you poor Mullet wearing unwashed. AFL first daylight second.
