NRL takes the weekend by 30,000 or so.

With the Ashes on over the next month, the AFL should be concerned.
why only the AFL be concerned ?

NRL should be too should they not ?

they both will take a hit

So our season is currently 9m behind the AFL's, which coincidently just happens to be the number Origin brings in. And if the ratings for all 16 clubs were included we would be about 5 million ahead. Wow

NRL - 150 Matches - AFL - 180 matches Wow just Wow ! what a total arse kicking.

A tick over 9mil lead for the AFL with only a handful of rounds plus finals to go.
The NRL, even with 2 extra h&a are going to have to pull something magic out of their arse to catch the AFL this year.
Actually a couple more creatively accounted "magic rounds" might do the trick......
Its been a while since we seen your ratings comparison graph - I suggest you lift your game.

NRL ratings largely unaffected this weekend compared to previous. History tells us that Melbourne audiences are more likely to watch cricket in greater numbers than other states as well. 9 putting it on the main channel outside of NSW and qld on weekends is a killer.
ahhh yes true, did not realize it has been put on the main channel in Southern States.

Melbourne usually watch more tv across the board than anyone anyways lol

Yep. I make it about 19 games less the NRL has had V the AFL. So it's gonna be line ball in domestic comps. Add in SOO, internationals, end of season RL and it's gonna be another big win for the greatest game of all. Well done!!!!!

Yes if you look it, NRL have an extra 2 rounds in play..

Because the AFL have a 1 week off period before finals.
and NRL finishes 1 week after AFL G.F

so the domestic Comp for H&A is well in truly in the balance..
it is going to be a very close finish.. for H&A season

i always thought NRL only had a 1 round advantage ...

and always thought how did AFL have such a big lead,
well that explains it..

2 rounds behind still in play.

Not surprising. Rugby maybe struggling but if the Wallabies start winning look out. The support for the game is under rated by ummmmm.........some folk outside the Rugby states.
