meh

It'll be 1.3 Million for the First FNF game of this season .. the first of many this year around this figure

Parramatta V Brisbane .. live into both cities

800K in Sydney & Brissie
500K in the regionals

the AFL just can't muster figures like that for a club game
support in the regionals is too thin....

Then the second game will drop to 400k and the overall average for the 4 hours will be well below the AFLs combined FTA and fox ratings!

theres no 2nd game in rnd 1
it will be played on Thursday night..... live.. across NSW & QLD .... Knights V Dragons .... & it won't be far off 1.3 Million either

& seriously .... 400K overall for our 2nd FNF game :?

it would be more then that , just for the metro figures
& well ova 600K across all markets

ova 2 million veiwers for the 2 games
great result for a game really only shown in only 2 states ...

Many of last years 2nd fn games rated just over 300k for without regionals. They would be 500 max with regionals.

Who knows what the AFL fn ratings will be like this year. FTA should increase with 7.30 broadcasting to 5 cities. Although the second digital channels in Sydney and brisbane won't contribute much i feel. The live game in Melbourne and near live in Adelaide and Perth will also improve ratings. However there will also be a decrease because of those who prefer the game in HD and ad free on foxtel. So overall I expect the FTA ratings to remain about the same.

But put these ratings together with foxtels and this should be pretty interesting. :D

it wouldn't matter what you put them on... where .. & when
AFL club games can't hit those sorts of figures (1.3 Mill)

the NRL can ... & has & will continue to.

NRL game will be on GEM. The cricket will be on the main channel. In New South Wales and Queensland as well as the rest of Australia.

Of course the AFL could get 1.3mil with a similar arrangment. Theyve shown before that 1 mil is achievable for live h and a games that involve more than 1 city. That game would also get 300k regionals if it was counted correctly.
