Everyone has their own opinion, not hating on Dave but his comments are those of a typical Sydney NRL fan, I hear that same line way to often "I will only go to a game, if my team is winning" or "I'd rather watch it on TV". I personally, turn up to watch my team (the bulldogs) rain, hail or shine/ winning or losing at ANZ and support them as much as I can, if all NRL fans were the same our membership levels would be much higher and crowd numbers would look alot better.

With no facts, your post means sweet fuck all. The fact that a team in so called rl heartland only has 3,609 members is a huge concern for the nRL, who have fought hard in defending their turf from the scary AFL. GWS with 3,000 ACT members and over 5,000 NSW members so far and tracking ahead of last year plus being in a non heartland area, are looking in much better shape than the Panfers.
