as Ive shown, the AFL is far far more national than the NRL. Calling the AFL the VFL is a real kick in the teeth for the NSW centric NRL. :D

I can only but show you the number of AFL teams outside Victoria compared to the number of NRL teams outside NSW. I cant make you comprehend it though. I dont think anyone can.
