Last AFL round with 5 games shown in isolation and no split games:
the AFL recorded total ratings of 3334k from only 5 games with 3 on FTA. (There was a 4th FTA game between the eagles and Sydney but these figures havent been shown by OZTAM because the game was only shown in Perth and SYdney so it didnt make the top 20.)
The average for this round was 667k per game. Foxtel average was 235k. FTA total was 2159 from 3 games at an average of 720k
Previous AFL round with 9 games shown concurrently:
Total ratings of 3750k from 9 games at an average of 417k per game
Previous NRL round with 8 games shown in isolation:
3603k at an average of 450k per game
These results destroy a few NRL theories said regularly on here:
1. Showing multiple AFL games at the same time to different audiences may be a minor advantage but doesnt increase FTA ratings that much over single FTA games
2. Split matches doesnt come close to making up for the drop in ratings by showing games at the same time. The AFL's ratings were up an average of around 250k PER GAME when shown in isolation compared to shown concurrently
3. The AFL's 5 NON-SPLIT games shown in isolation almost rated the same as the NRL's 8 games shown in isolation, and averaged nearly 120k extra per game. This included both codes with 3 FTA games in the round
DESTROYED again

regards to the seasonal ratings, taking out SOO
it is going to be very close.
($1.90 a piece.
if NRL includes Origin it will be approx a 8-10mill win.

which means nothing given the figures show the AFL rates almost the same from 5 games shown in isolation as they do for 9 games shown concurrently.
The cumulative total is therefore complete BS

no surprise you and the others wont touch this data, it destroys the very arguments you've been holding on to for years.
