Oh so we have no response? You enjoy watching lopsided matches with the same 6-7 sides copping thrashings, week in week out? You think this is a good 'competition'? Deary my pies, were you around in the 90's and 2000's?

Seriously, 3 to 6 games each week are absolute snore fests. And I mean from start to finish. The games over before it begins. And you can pick with deadly accuracy which 3 - 6 games these will be. In the NRL you cant.

Dont believe it pies? Think the NRL is just as bad? Then hows about you join me in a little forecasting. I'll predict thrashings in the AFL comp vs you predicting thrashings in the NRL comp.

Yes? Shall we do this? :D

Only 2 teams get thrashed every week you minda. And in 2 years time once the Giants and Melbourne are much better sides, there could quite possible be no teams getting smashed every match they play.

I find something confusing about the nRL. Colleagues at work that follow your joke of a sport keep telling me that the GC Titans are a horrible team, yet they sit 5th on the ladder. Your ladder and results are close simply due to the low-scoring nature of your game. AFL results show an accurate representation of where each team is at. There is no false hope in the AFL. If your team is sh*t, you know it. Whereas in the nRL if your team is sh*t, you sit in 5th place.

 two plus several others stewie. I'm sorry stewie me boy but a match where a team is losing from start to finish, getting hammered by 40, 50 and 60points + is what I call an uncompetitive boring match. And anyone with half a brain knows and thinks this as well.

Western bulldogs avg loss margin against non basketcase leaguers? 45 points  Shall I tally the others for you? I'm right, you tools hate me for it!

Comon folks, enough of the fighting now, i've been making you turds look small and stupid for 56 pages now....NOW GIMME SOME FREAKIN OPTIONS FOR THIS LOPSIDED DEBACLE AND I"LL SEND A COLLATED RESPONSE TO THE AFL!

No, you're wrong and ill informed drac. Sorry. GC are playing some awesome footy, especially of late. They're a well drilled, disciplined and skillful outfit.

A lower scoring code does not hide teams who are simply uncompetitive week in, week out. The tigers were uncompetitive for a while, I'll concede. They seriously looked like they dont belong in the league for 5 or so weeks there. But they're building and had injuries, now they look ok and can compete with most the clubs in the league.

Unfortunately, Brissie, Melbs, GWS, GC, and Western bulldogs are consistently uncompetitive and being belted in their games. Admit it the AFL was never this lopsided in the past, never, not even close to what's happening now. Scary thing is, port shatelaide and stkilda look like they're of the same ilk! 7 absolute basketcases! Something's gotta be done!!

Oooooohhhhh that's gotta BUUUUUUURRRRRN!
But STRUTH!"its just melbs and the gws tweens that need to improve" they say  Seriously we need to ask - could this season be more lopsided than 2012? I'll let yas know come end of season when i compile the stats  And do you think sporting bet know something every single AFL supporter on this site doesnt know? I think they do, its called the bleeding obvious

Now to add some salt to the wound lets compare what the folk down at sporting bet have got for the nrl, a competitive professional australian sporting league.

But now please, lets move on and come up with some options for this darstardly lopsided competition they call the AFL.

What can they do? How can this be fixed? Who's to blame? Long term goals, short term goals and actions or both? Demetriou given the boot? Answers folks, lets get answers now! [-o<

That has to be one of the dumbest things I have ever seen posted on this forum. Titans have a great team and have been playing great footy. They have two of the best young halves in the game and they one of the biggest forward packs in the game.

The truth is its obvious the AFL have a very lopsided competition where the bottom few teams are noncompetitive in a large proportion of the games they play. The AFL are doing everything they can to address this issue. What are your suggestions KE?

3-6 teams must go. Andrew Demetriou should be castrated and sent to a guatamalan prison. Clubs like Collingwood and Essendond should be taxed by the AFL according to wealth distribution. GWS must be humbly aborted. And I think the AFL need more suggestions. Its bigger than Ben Hurr this issue.

No, I'd say a few of the struggling Melbourne teams need to go, I wont say who, but the crowds and revenue pretty clearly show who.

As the Suns are showing things can turn around very quickly. They really are looking poised to become a decent team with great performances against Hawthorn and Geelong away from home.

AD has been good for the game and is leagues ahead of other sports administrators in this country. Even the most biased RL supporter would concede this.

AFL super clubs will be forced to distribute some of their wealth in some manner and ways are currently being investigated. I'd confidently say this is the number one issue on the AFL's agenda right now.

I wouldnt abort GWS yet. Makes no sense to ditch an expansion team before theyre succesful on the field. Expansion markets are typically fickle and drop right off when success dries up. If theyre still struggling after finishing high on the ladder for a number of years then termination may be considered.

KE, thats just stupid, these things as I said before can be cyclical, introducing two new teams also has an effect as the ongoing mismanagement of Melbourne etc, its lopsided but it will change as it has for GC this year to a certain extent. It doesn't worry me - we have now the free agent system which I think will effect the lopsided comp. it's not an issue as for AD your jeolousy is showing KE, he is a tough intelligent manager who has played AFL at the highest level, NRL hasn't had that for a long long long time!

Cyclical!? I guess you're a climate change sceptic also? This is the most lopsided comp in the HISTORY of the AFL. It's likely the most lopsided comp in the history of ALL professional sporting comps in Australia, if not the world, and quite possibly all planets nurturing life in the UNIVERSE!

AD tough and intelligent?
