hmmm... they made a G.F a few years ago.. and have been a hell of alot better than the Titans..
especially at making finals.. and performing, the past 8 years..
but i get your point.. it is just not on par with the titans.

6 seasons ago they made the GF. Other than that theyve make the finals only 7 times since 1995

In the time of where huge TV DEALS were put in place.
Freo have been rating better because of performance improvement

for home fans they are related. When clubs get decent home crowds their home ratings would also be good. If they drop off you know their home market ratings will be average

and if ch9 did that the ratings would drop compared to the broncos and the $$ offer would be lower. I'm sure ch7 would have been happy to show west coast v Coll, Ess, Rich every Friday night, and pay more for the increased ratings

forget the argument that NRL is only allowed 3 FTA games per week..
just because the AFL only gets around this>>

for more interstate teams

NRL is winning the battle since the deals were signed >> proving FOX paid overs..

(yes they would, but the deals and tv structure is alot different than the NRL>
