Let’s think about this, which is not your strong point, the AFL Grand Final was the most watched program in Australia.
A game featuring no Victorian side and no side from the traditional Australian Rules states, but 2 North Eastern State teams, where according to you no one watches and no one cares.
Yes the gap is growing but not the deluded way you keep espousing.
Bring on your emojis, you need all the support you can get.
that is what made the GF hit 4mill was because it had QLD AND NSW SIDE> along with both teams having grassroots back to Victoria.
it was the AFL's chance to hit its biggest ever audience.

Also NRL has 4 BIG matches per year
Yes but 3 are rep games and not NRL games. Organised by (well really the ARL) the NRL, played by NRL players but not NRL games.
who plays in them ?

a league players ? 8-[
      :(/ :(/ :(/ :(/

oh wow
the derp

I also quite clearly said .... sport not comp
RL
the sport your silly little fumbling shit show cannot catch & the gap just grows & grows

I’d call it Australian Rules, our state of origin was organised for a while by the National Football Council until the AFL took oven.
They were not AFL games but state of origin games organised by the AFL. Some representative players were not AFL players at the time and some never played in the AFL.
So Your state of origin games, rep games, yes, rugby league games, yes, NRL games…no.
There are lies, damn lies and then there are ratings.

ok fairly explained.

i will say this though, If AFL did have SOO you would most certainly claim it. (if the ratings were as big)

and being that SOO is not a NRL game and in fact ARL game between the states. all profits still go back to the same place lol
its rugby league after all, and just a another comp within the game it provides.

I would claim it as an elite representation of Australian Rules although I would think there would less chance of a non AFL player being selected.

I can assure you captain never right about anything . that if AFL stole RL's concept of state of origin .. again.. they'd be including them in the AFLs figures in a heartbeat

but as we know , the only sport on the planet that has no representative level is more interested in suburbs      :(/ :(/ :(/

Do you have to be a playing for an NRL club to play SoO? Didn't they bring Alfi Langer back to play for QLD years ago - when he was playing in England maybe?
