I would claim it as an elite representation of Australian Rules although I would think there would less chance of a non AFL player being selected.

I can assure you captain never right about anything . that if AFL stole RL's concept of state of origin .. again.. they'd be including them in the AFLs figures in a heartbeat

Do you have to be a playing for an NRL club to play SoO? Didn't they bring Alfi Langer back to play for QLD years ago - when he was playing in England maybe?
