Yes, 12th. Not 17th or 18th, 12th. They are playing like a team well on the rise and not bottom 4 material.

I expect them to finish top half of the ladder next year. Playing some excellent footy this year as well, pushed the current best team in the comp in Hawthorn all the way last weekend. According to KE they are bottom 4 for the next 10 years though.

Anyone catch any of the lions pies match last night? it was over in the first 5mins. The lions, a rue basketcase, were never in it from start to finish.

Meanwhile the nrl game was awesome going down to the wire. A reflection of the comp really, you can never be sure who's gunna win.

And right now we have Carlton stretching ahead of the giants. It's gunna be a woeful gAme. Aren't u AFL fans sick of it yet, like me.

The game naturally has blow outs and from a neutral supporters point of view I agree this can be bad. The key is to stop these blowouts from always happening to the same team. At the moment this is happening a lot to GWS as it was to GC last year. GWS will be better then GC are currently next year IMO so there's no issue for then. The only team with a troubled immediate future from a playing point of view at the moment is Melbourne. These blow outs are still not stopping the specatators from turning out in larger numbers almost every year.

For someone who plays the game you have a passion for finding the negative!

the VFL is abysmal ... its just woeful
their basketcase league sides are as bad as bottom placed sides have ever been in the history of this comp
the bottom 6 could have been picked by a 100 year old blind Tibetan Monk who's never seen a fumble or bumble .... 6 months ago

I see Pooorrrtttt Pennyless are heading back to where they belong like a run away freight train heading south
they played a few basket casers & .... were back according to their dole collecting ugg boot & winnie blue smoking bogan shit for brains supporters

but alas
they were ID'd as certain bottom 6 by said Tibetan monk [-X [-X
& bottom 6 they will be
there are no surprises in the VFL as we all know

when will they demand answers
why has our comp been ruined ?
who did this #-o
why is every body laughing at us :-k

ahhhhhhhhhhhhh

Western bulldogs

10 games - 3 wins (2 against basketcase teams)

Average losing margin - a whopping 45 points!

Should I profile the other basketcase leaguers for your understanding pies?

The comp is Lopsided to billio. Acknowledge it mate, that's all I ask.

So what there are currently 3 NRL teams with 3 wins and 8 loses. They also have worse losing margins. All are over 100 points down (points for/points against), with wests over 160 points down.

Mornin folks,

It's your resident basketcase league expert KE here, providing you with another update on the comp.

Well well well, what a weekend in footy it was. We had the usual excitement of GWS and Melb shaming themselves more than Bill Clinton or your avg homeless bum who's soiled themselves. Both copped absolute hammerings. There simply was no 'contest'. Then we had our other basketcasers playing against AFL teams and proving to be no competition whatsoever, with Brissie and the suns being soundly beaten by 50 odd points each.

In new news there's been some quite exciting developments occurring which I've been keeping a close eye on. Portshatelaide lost in great fashion to the bulldogs and are making a thundering comeback to the basketcase league! :D They're smashing their way down the ladder from 2nd doooooooowwwn now to 11th. Amazing to see them getting back to their box so quickly.. and just quietly, I think GWS are a hot chance of getting their very first win against port next week :D

And then there's something of a shock I must say. Ofcourse it was so clear to see who our basketcase leaguers were last season, there was the clearest division between the bottom 6 and the rest in terms of competition. It was hailed by many (me first of course:D) 'the most lopsided comp in AFL history'. But this season there's been an anomaly of sorts. Port shatelaide jumped the gun and confused many but this wasnt all that seemed out of the ordinary, and of course they're now coming back to join the basketcase league. No something else was happening which I'm terribly sorry for not informing you all of sooner. A team called stkilda is steadily and surely putting its hand up higher and higher asking for basketcase league status. They've lost to the suns and the bulldogs and in recent weeks they've started to allow themselves to cop proper hidings from AFL teams, the real signature and calling card of all basketcase leaguers. They're sitting in 3rd last and look damned comfy there :| . Folks, I didnt think it would come this year but we may be watching history as a seventh side collapses into basketcase league status. :o

If this is the case, and I believe it is so, the AFL surely will take notice...surely!? To help the AFL, I'd appreciate some AFL fans provide some options for this dastardly lopsided comp we currently have. Comon folks lets put our heads together on this one eh? :D
