My team gets heaps less FTA games than the vFL's and your biggest team and stomps them into the ground, how can that be?

Because all our teams stomp them into the ground!ParraEelsNRL wrote:My team gets heaps less FTA games than the vFL's and your biggest team and stomps them into the ground, how can that be?

I have shown statistically that Collingwood gets a lot more people wacthing their games then any other side. Dont forget to add the fox ratings as well. Get your facts right. Not to mention that most NRL teams get an extra 2 games due to a 24 round season.ParraEelsNRL wrote:My team gets heaps less FTA games than the vFL's and your biggest team and stomps them into the ground, how can that be?

Re: NRL to reap $1.2b from TV rights
Didn't have fox ratings in 09/10 or 11 did they, they had no fox ratings before them years either unless they actually played on Fox Sports which we all know was very rare.
Stop with the excuses, when both codes had only FTA without simulcasting, your biggest was smashed by Parramatta with less games shown on FTA and with Parramatta only getting their games shown into NSW and QLD.
You can't change those facts no matter how you twist it.

dumbass, before this year the AFL had NO live games. Their FN games was delayed by 1-3hrsParraEelsNRL wrote:Didn't have fox ratings in 09/10 or 11 did they, they had no fox ratings before them years either unless they actually played on Fox Sports which we all know was very rare.

hahaha. what a derp.
Any excuse to protect the vfl and collinton.
Hey xmoron, do you think any of those FTA games that Parra played were ever shown on Delay into NSW when they were playing the Broncos or another out of state/country team?
Yeah, two Friday night games in a row, 1 live, 1 delayed, did parra get the live game each time, or did they have a few delayed Friday games plus the delayed Sunday FTA game?
As I said, you're a moron with all the excuses. But the excuses don't add up, do they DUMBARSE?

Re: NRL to reap $1.2b from TV rights
When Collingwood play a FTA game, unless it's on Friday it rarely gets broadcast into every market. For example, if Collingwood played Essendon on a Saturday night that game would go head to head with another game, let's say it was Port Adelaide v West Coast. If the Coll v Ess game was broadcast by Seven and the Port v West Coast game by Fox Sports, both SA and WA markets will see the Fox Sports broadcast and not see the Collingwood game at all. This limits the amount of viewers they receive on FTA tv.
Whenever there is an nRL game on FTA, that FTA game is guaranteed to be shown nation wide. There are no market specific games in the nRL (worse TV deal) so clubs that are shown a lot on FTA tv in the nRL like the Broncos and the Eels a few years ago), will have more nationwide matches than the AFL clubs will. So the whole Eels possibly outrating Collingwood thing is easily explained. However, if the AFL FTA matches were shown all nationwide in a similar deal to the nRL, Collingwood would be smashing the Eels even more.

Blah blah blah, excuse excuse excuse.
Face it, your biggest team in the vfl only manages to beat the smaller clubs in the NRL on the box, that's the fact and it has been proven many times now.
Oh, and as you said right here Spewart
Doesn't make sense, first you say we use NSW and QLD to our advantage by showing local state teams in that state, yet on the other hand, you're now saying these games are shown live NATION WIDE.
For gods sake, make up your mind, stick with that delusion and be done with it.

Hang on spewie, how can this be when you say the Broncos are on every Friday night, how can that be when they are shown only into QLD if they are playing any side outside of NSW and also the teams from Sydney that are struggling on the pitch?Spewie wrote:Whenever there is an nRL game on FTA, that FTA game is guaranteed to be shown nation wide.

Re: NRL to reap $1.2b from TV rights
How can the NRL have nation wide coverage of all their FTA games spewie?
Only NSW and QLD were ever guaranteed full coverage until half way through this year.
The fact remains that a lot of the NRL games on FTA TV were not shown into other states at all, or they kicked off well after midnight for the first game and if the second was shown, it was shown between 2am/4am till the finish of the match if it hadn't been cut to shreds.
A brain is like a gear box, it doesn't work until you click it into gear, how about you try that first, then try and make some silly irrelevant point!

Is Victoria all of Australia redneck?
What about the states outside of that shithole you come from, did their FTA games get live coverage?
Don't answer, you'll only lie again.

Where the fuck did I mention LIVE? Learn to read moron. Collingwood actually are the most watched team on television, and that's despite having all their non Friday night FTA matches not shown around the country in all FTA markets.

Bahahahaha, from collinton themselves none the less aye spewart?
Get TV tonight to tell you they are the biggest and most watched, I bet you can't.
And we know why you can't, it's because what you and those liars say are wrong, it's all Fumbleball propaganda.
The Broncos smash all because they get the games on FTA and have a whole state to themselves, can collinton point to where they beat the Broncos?
Well?
