6.5mill?
http://www.abs.gov.au/ausstats/abs@.nsf/mf/3101.0

12.2m live in NSW QLD and ACT

7mill live In SYD GC BRIS. This leaves only 5.2m regional populations in these states. [-X

10.1m live in VIC SA TAS WA. Therefore the regional audience of these states (10.1-7m for PERTH ADEL MEL) is 3.1m.

This is hardly the massive regional audience advantage the RL fans would have us believe.

Dave, higher ratings are in the metro areas because that is where the majority of the population is. When did you last see an add for Woolies or Coles that mentioned the local? NEVER! It's generic stuff that is no different in the cities than it is in the regional areas. The cities dictate what is advertised in the regionals. The regionals have little say in it. If they did, where is the local programming aside from the news? You don't know much do you?

Nice work again, Xman!

ah no no no [-X [-X [-X
you add in our catchment regional areas ... but leave out the flogball ones

I've taught you this lesson before .. learn it this time
the population as far as TV catchment for the singleball metro are concerned for Melb .. Perth & Adelaide is 8 Million

4.5 for Melb
2 Million Perth
1.5 Million for Adelaide

the rest is the true regional audience for the giggleball states .. about 2 Million .. or squat as I like to describe it
the NRL states regional is well ova 5 Million as you say

thats why we attract 2.5 times the Regional audience of the AFL

lesson ends

Our 5.5 Million regional consumers ... Aust Population is 22.8 Million ... not 22.3 million
NRL states 12.5 Million
giggleball states 10.3 Million

the bush is the heartland of our game
RL is a more popular game in regional NSW & QLD then it is ..even in Sydney & Brisbane

making my statement even more accurate
2.5 to 1
for veiwers in regional NRL land .... then stickinsectball land

Then how come there's only one comp per 137,000 people in your precious heartland? If it was that popular, there would be way more than the AFL comps in Victoria! But guess what? There aren't!

End of.
