Pre 2024 figures had
LIONS around 40k
SUNS around 20k
Oh - I see - I thought it was a like for like comparison based on that week. I just did a Chat GPT search and it said averages for FTA for Suns in QLD or Brisbane were not readily published - gave a few national figures. Where'd you get yours as want to look it up.
yeah its like literally unknown now>>
we use to though, remember they would release city metro numbers weekly and wookie would do a spreadsheet
and it was very detailed running report of the season.
but Wookie is now not able to publish this on Twitter or his website due to copyright data.
Its mostly because the people that do have the data release it only sporadically.

Seven’s schedule featured variations in every market on Friday night. Melbourne and Adelaide saw St Kilda edge out Essendon in a thriller while Brisbane and Perth saw Brisbane progress to the finals with a big win over Fremantle. That included a 30 minute truncated 6pm news out west. The AFL was up 60k on last week to 622k.
The Roosters easily defeated the Bulldogs in the NRL Friday night on Nine, up 15k to 548k this week. AFL markets had Police Rescue Australia on the main channel

This Friday night is where is sucks for me - and likely impacts ratings in QLD for AFL - I have the Pies playing Melbourne which I want to watch and have the Suns playing Port - which I want to watch - on at virtually the same time!!!!!!!!!!!! Why do they overlap games ....FFS.

its a weird schedule clash of the double headers etc..
It was approved by the Broadcasters.. so they have the stats and they did not mind..
they way it has been done...
is its catering to the Victorian Audience with 1 game
while also displaying Friday Night Games to teams that usually do not get them
SUNS, GWS and the WA Market teams
its been done 4 times with Friday Night Clashes.

Yeah - it sucks for QLD though - as many people already have their Vic or SA team and Suns as a second - so when they clash - and when it is with probably the biggest supporter base in QLD in Collingwood Supporters - it is poor. I will have to work something out - also just realised I am meant to be going oput to a trivia night that night!!!!!! Think I feel a slight couch coming on.

its low viewership though Freddy, Its about Money, and networks and AFL choose this at the benefit of making money

Many AFL fans are annoyed with the split scheduling Fred. Hard to find all the tv ratings for metro markets every time it happens too.
