Why are you so passionate Dave to prove in your mind that AFL is not the number 1 code in Australia ? I mean it no where near competes with AFL on so many measures. You try and twist and take bits and pieces to try and say AFL isn't doing well, but facts are on most, if bit all, the facts are very clear . Sure, nrl is the dominant code in most of NSW and probably all if qld, that's why there expansion markets and why the AFL ate trying to get a market there ... Swans have done very well in membership and crowd numbers ... Even there lowest average attendance is par with nrl crowd attendance in Sydney. Sure, I get some AFL guys are going around and being cocky and bragging and you and some others are trying to knock the chip off their shoulder, but when you twist facts and basically make things up (just because you think it us true does not make it so) , it just belittles you and makes you seem juvenile at best... Which is ashame because you probably have a lot to offer . I think you would get more respect for your position and stop the arrogance if you simply acknowledged facts. Like the gains swans have made in Sydney compared to when you heard nothing about AFL 30 years ago.. Then also saying that the AFL still has a long long way to go .

it is not close to being numb one in the other half

and has been proven consistently .... RL is watched by more people then it
every year & this is by many millions

this is a hard pill for the singlet wearers to fathom
but suck it up ladies
fathom it you must

Raiderdave what a joke you are - you show your complete ignorance what r u muslim? Only someone who has no connection to the day could use the dawn service as an insult. And as for insinuating that I denigrate RL fairly hypocritical don't you think! As for the insinuation that RL owns the day AF has been played on the day since the 1920's. the rest of ur comments are the usual unintelligent response we've come to expect. What a wanker!

can we get any form of proof Raiderdave?
all your claims are straight out bs,
no one cares about league in SA,WA, TAS, NT and vic, so how is it any where near as popular as AFL?

Thats about 20% of the crowd that didnt show. Looks familiar. With a few more sellouts maybe RD and Co will begin to understand.

The only reason they sold out was because they played it just after the AFL match where thousands would have gone to the Storm game with discounted tickets, plus there's a large NZ contingent in Melbourne.
