Suggest you return and find the companies that don't have a presence in Sydney or Melbourne. Rare as hen's teeth, because doing business in regional areas alone is impossible. This supports my point. The only way to do business in regional Australia successfully is to be successful in the metropolitan areas in the first place and pump their advertising into regional TV. That is how it is done and it defeats your attempt misrepresent advertisers and their business planning.

Topper yes big companies are big companies. Is that your point? If not happy to have someone else from the AFL side leap in and explain to me.

I suggest you explain to me which big companies ignore metropolitan areas and rely completely on regional output. That was my point. There aren't any. This destroys your argument.

A good business plan will look to Maximilien it returns from any market it can find. While they obviously focus on the metro it remains that 30% of our population lives outside the metro. No business is going to ignore that large a part of the total Australian market

it will certainly look at business in cities **** the 10 largest in the country that aren't capitals

the Gold Coast
Newcastle
Canberra
Wollongong
Townsville

oh .. wow .. I just realised
all of these centres .. have an NRL Team

Hey bub! Stop stealing my line, bub! :D

Serious, that's the point. When it comes to sport, one game does not make a TV deal. It's the total over a season. That attracts the big bucks as the AFL know first hand. Not only that they have the wider reach, so individual game wins by rugby league mean nothing to advertisers.

Naughty ex man.

You are def now a big part of what you just deleted, I don't know why I didn't mention you in the first place with that lot.

RL ratings will win again, they always do.
