incorrect the GABBA capacity as proven has a capacity of 37k which the LIONS have got a few times around the 36k markmakingnrlfansgowacko wrote: Thu Aug 13, 2026 6:45 pmthey are constantly belittled on here even despite playing out of stadium thats capacity seems around 31/32kleeroy*NRL* wrote: Wed Aug 12, 2026 6:59 pmwho ignores ??makingnrlfansgowacko wrote: Wed Aug 12, 2026 11:49 am
again somehow we must marval at this while the Lions and Swans achievements of consistently doing this are ignored.
Brisbane is a city of 3 million people, league is considered the dominant code and the second professional team can only achieve this
Swans Crowds are brilliant (very good) (tv figures hold up well too)
Lions crowds are good (averaging 30k) pass 3 seasons,
remembering they are the most successful team of this Century.
Tv Ratings is what lets the Lions down.
Correct, Dolphins should be getting These decent crowds, my point is they are building and getting bigger.
NRL could add another 2 teams in SEQ and get 30k crowds
EASTS and IPSWICH would be massive success stories.
EASTS are just as Rich as the BRONCOS AND DOLPHINS
IPSWICH HAS one of the biggest GOLDEN WEST corridors in the country (untouched)
the broncos have been one of the more successful professional sporting of the past 30 years also rarely missing the finals are averaging round 40k with regular Friday evening games so hard to see the redcliff averaging much more than they already do
the LIONS average 30k over the pass 3 seasons.
41k is the broncos average which is a great crowd.
