Today”s game is a good example of why a roof is required on the new stadium
well according to forum genius Azif and others of his intellectual NRL fans dont travel due to tribal rivalry so they wouldn't know what a winter is like in Hobart
Personally, ive been to NZ and Melbourne but never Tasmania, but assume the weather is something horrid in the middle of those two places. the Arctic winds that the bass straight produces also is next level horrible also. i can associate the cold conditions to attending football/Soccer games back in mostly Western Europe but we never got the Arctic winds like Melbourne and NZ gets

absolutely no change to the govt situation , libs win the election to form a minority govt , with Labor & greens holding the balance of power still oppose a billion dollar roofed stadium
Proving this assumption pushed by turdball house that Tasmanians are overwhelmingly ALL for this stadium ... is as per usual with anything those fumbling clowns claim
totally false

seriously , this here folks is why fumblers are considered by all fans of other codes to be the dumbest coonts on gods green
they'd embarrass a box of hammers they're that dumb
winter in Hobart is pleasant ... compared to Canberra
much warmer
much drier
way less windy
as for wind
Shark Park & WIN Stadium
infinitely more windy then Hobart will ever be
yet NRL players cope
because
they aren't bumbling clowns in singlets you can't score goals when theres no breeze , 18C & sunny either

A good explanation on the state of things here
https://www.abc.net.au/news/2025-07-21/ ... /105552216
The wind was amazing - watched the boundary umpire throw it is several times as the wind just took it way off line. And some of the kicks were veering 45 degrees when the wind would catch it. So any long - high kicks were a nightmare -
Could they build a stadium that addresses the heavy winds without having a roof?
Meanwhile Northern Territory seems to be gaining momentum.

build a colosseum like the MCG in Tasmania, but the venue still has its own wind channels so trying to compete with mother nature you will always loose out

trying to throw or kick a ball in to the wind has nothing to do with skill or technique! Mr keyboard expert, that is to afraid to leave the house due too tribal rivalry eg the kid that laughs at him up the road

wind and temperature conditions do change and so do climates across the country and the world, and vastly different to your backyard! Ed!
i know you think that for some reason that its always sunny and perfect condition for AFL games and always wet and windy for NRL games
ill stop there as it seems to be getting far to complicated for you to understand that kicking the ball as hard as you can in to a strong wind the ball will never travel as far as no wind or with the wind, no matter the technique protectorate of the angel you take! ED!
