I was home on this Friday Night and flicked over to watch the AFL women's game to see how they faired compared to the men...
from the first bounce onwards it was pretty ugly to watch..
I was amazed at the crowd in attendance and had no idea at the time entry was free. (which explains a lot now)
I don't think you can brag about a lock out when tickets were free
and it was and AFL first for the womens game..
I would like a honest answer from AFL folk on here (how did you rate that game as a viewer....
welcome AFL to the world of women's sport.....
Already commented that it was a scrappy game.

What, as has been pointed out, the women in other sport have been there and done all this, wtf is wrong with you Victorian morons, YOU DID NOT CREATE WOMEN'S SPORT.
FFS rL women played games in the 1920-30's in Aus and England in front of massive crowds. You banana throwing neanderthals need to step into the modern world and stop portraying yourselves as world leaders when you are anything but.
People are trying to make out the AFL invented woman sport, they keep pointing out the popularity and excitement it is generating.
That your little man syndrome and the rest of your tin foil hat loon buddies that aflw are claiming that.
Who cares about your jillawhos, as it shows, little people care about female league.

Ha I had no idea it was free. lol wtf are these Southern fairies crowing about. We got a big turnout to a free match.
If this is true. It shows AFL has no confidence in it's womens version of the game.

i say good on the AFL for give woman more exposure at the domestic level. That's one thing rugby needs to do. We have great international exposure but we can definitely learn from AFL to give our woman better domestic exposure

Back to women's AFL. Another good week. The standard is poor at best with glimpses of some good work. Under 15 twos level I would say. My son commented it was like watching a rugby match with everyone in huddles falling over one another. I have liked the umpiring though. Not so technical.
